Biography: After his parents died in a climbing accident, Jin and his elder brother of three years were left alone in the world. Biography: Hisa’s world came crashing down the morning she turned seven. She awoke to her mother hanging above the dinning room table. Shocked and frightened, she hid in her closet unable to cry or scream. When worried neighbors went to check on Hisa and her mother the next morning, they found the ghastly scene as it had been the day before and Hisa still hiding in her closet. Further searching turned up the suicide note in which, Hisa’s mother stated that she couldn’t bear the shame of having given birth to an illegitimate child any longer. The ridicule of her friends, the disowning of her family, and the abandonment of her lover had finally pushed her over the edge.
Shortly afterwords, Hisa was put into a foster home. During that time, she fashioned her pain into the hate and anger that consumes her soul today. It didn’t take long for her first foster parents to trade her in for a more pleasant child. Hisa’s fiery, but indifferent attitude kept her hopping from one home to another. It also kept her switching schools almost every quarter. She would disrespect a teacher or get into a fight with other students nearly every other day. Yet, even though, most feared Hisa, Emi, who had enough courage to befriend her, knew that Hisa’s rough exterior bellied a deep loneliness and a fragile heart.
Within the first two days of her 3rd year, Hisa has already managed to get expelled for beating up another 3rd year girl. Since then, she has been chilling out as her foster parents have been frantically searching for a new high school for her to attend. When the news that she would be attending the school Rauko and Azreal teach at was dropped on her last night, Hisa was not at all pleased, but sullenly decided she would give it a try. Her current foster parents are proving to be more difficult to frustrate than previous ones and so, Hisa is biding her time until she can enact a deviant plan to make them trade her. She hopes to get into a fight on the first day at this new school and have to go home early.
Personality: Hisa is a rebellious teen that deals with her problems through violence. She’s frightened of appearing vulnerable and so, masks her hurt with a tough act. Biography: It was snowing, and freezing and yet a large stomached women was screaming for her husband to drag her down to the hospital, it was time. After waking up the entire apartment she was carried down the stairs and into the small car sitting out front. After several hours of screaming and cursing the small child that has caused all the mess as born. It was a small boy, with light purple hair and odd markings on his face. He was rather tiny for the time being but he wasn't sick. He was defiantly a loud little bugger but the more he screamed and cried the healthier they knew he was. On that day the small child was named Verikai Lee, and added to the Kamitari family. He was their first child, and the pride of their lives. After a week or so in the hospital for check ups the small child was allowed to go home.
Living with a stay home Mom and a Father who was the average Business man made him little when he was first a toddler. He had a few toys here and there but he was truly treated with the greatest care that anyone could ask for. His life was normal, there was nothing odd about it. Slowly he aged and finally when he turned Four his mother was able to go back to work. He started attending Preschool and learning all that his little mind could. He was a dashing student, loved hitting the books and learning new things about life and people. Of course he learned little since he was only reading child books but he loved the words, and the colors on each page. Even when they had time to play Verikai was sitting on the reading rug with a pile of books beside him. His eyes scanning the pages like they held secrets for him to crack, and only him. His peace didn't last long though.
On the day of his graduation his mother was picking him up his favorite dinner, of course this was Preschool graduation and Verikai was Six. His mother was struck by a speeding car and killed. He didn't get the news till a few hours later. Being rushed to the hospital where he hadn't been since he was born he entered the ER and looked at the pale white sheet that covered the face of his mother. Being the curious child that he was he pulled the sheet off and scared at the face of death. Next thing he knew he was grabbed and dragged backwards, his pale eyes widened, but that had of the man he loved dearly protected his innocent eyes from the image that laid under the white sheet.Once they were out of the room he just remembered his father collapsing and holding him like there was someone trying to rip him away. He would never forget that day.
After that trauma that boy was left to heal himself. His father buried himself in the work that he had, and ended up making them very wealthy. He was given a life of wealth in exchange for the death of his mother. He was no longer the Hyper little child that he was once and slowly pulled into himself. He found escapes in things that many would avoid. Giving himself to a Host Club he worked his nights away pleasing women after women to try and erase the void that filled his heart. It wasn't till one evening on his Fourteenth birthday that things really changed. He discovered he was a fighter.
Personality:When you first look at Verikai you see a playful loser who would do anything for someone to play with. Yet when you look a little deeper there is something totally different buried under the pretty face the shows the kind smile and innocent eyes. He is very dark, and slightly twisted on the inside. Likes seeing people in pain, mainly his enemies. It gives him the feeling of being in control and able to do something. He is slightly insane when it comes down to it. He has a very twisted image of the world and is very bitter. He doesn't really feel like he needs anyone else but the person whom he calls his other half, the person whom he shares his name with.
With this dark side comes a very over protective nature. Since he lost his mother he clings tightly to anything that is close to him. When he finally finds his sacrifice he probably won't let them out of his site. He has large abandonment issues and doesn't like being alone for an extended period of time. When he is alone he gets paranoid and worries about bothersome things that normally he wouldn't care about. When he is in dark places he tends to get overly jumpy. When he is like that avoiding him is the best idea.
Verikai is a very caring person when you get close to him. He is a worry wort about things that normally people would care about, and he tends to think on things for longer periods of time then he should. He loves giving advise though when someone really needs help. He isn't they type of person to just be nice though. He is very open minded and is able to see the big picture giving him advantages when it comes to fighting.

Saito *sighs* as he puts down the pen he was using to finish his summer homework.
"Does it really hurt that much to say my name....mother..."
Saito closed his door gently behind him and walked slowly down the stairs, scanning to see if it was safe or not. He froze in terror at the sight of his *supposed* father sitting in a recliner, watching T.V. He had a glazed look in his eye, which only ment one thing: He was drunk. Saito hoped that if he walked past him, nonchalontly, he wouldn't be noticed.....He was wrong. Before he could breath easy at clearing the task at hand, He felt a strong force grab one of his arms and throw him against the wall.
"What are you still doing here, you piece of trash? Didn't I already tell you to beat it?"
Saito encountered this reaction way too many times to understand that he was suppose to keep his mouth shut; No matter if he wanted to point out that this was HIS home way before he came; No matter if he wanted to kick and punch at him, for bringing his mother downhill along with him. He was nothing to him. He was furniture in his eyes.....Broken furniture that needed to be thrown out.
"What? Aren't you gonna answer me? *shakes Saito violently* ANSWER ME DAMN IT!"
*Saito finally looks him in the eye...but does not say anything. Step-father takes that as enough.*
"Little runts like you are suppose to listen to their parents....so listen to your father when he says LEAVE."
Saito's face turned red. He Hated when he suddenly outbursted against him. It made Saito feel as if He had lost. But he just couldn't take sitting there, like a helpless child...

The Step-father smirked. Saito hated that smirk. He knew that was the beginning of the end.

Biography: Claimed to have been born 'on the wrong side of the tracks', Nisuke's mother bore him when she herself was only 16. His father had been 19 at the time, and the young couple dropped out and ran off together, living in the back alleys of some horrid places. Nisuke was only five when he saw from the only apartment window his father get shot, and since that day he had seemed attached to his mother endlessly. Yet as many would expect of a woman from her background, she merely strived for money and reputation... both of which she found one night when swept into the arms of a man fond of collecting pretty little women. Unfortunately, he wasn't fond of the children these pretty women had, and Nisuke was abandoned by his mother.
Nisuke was accepted into a gang at the age of nine. Seeming emotionless in all he did and hurting others without a second thought, he quickly rose to second-in-command by age 12. Nisuke had gained a reputation amongst others, which also gained him quite a few enemies. At age 14, Nisuke perhaps faced one of the more frightening events of his life. Faced with countless rivals all at once, Nisuke's gang abandoned him to be beaten and brutally attacked until one would swear he was dead. Nisuke was surprised to wake up the next morning in the hospital, a hert monitor and IV attached to him, along with his body covered in bandages.
It took weeks for Nisuke to find out who had saved him. Staring out the window one day, a young woman had entered the room, carrying a large bouquet of white roses and a smile on her face. Nisuke acted as though she didn't notice, until the woman sat beside his bed and spoke. "It's good to see you're alright... what's your name?"
Nisuke had been wary of her, yet he still answered, ears being pinned against his head and a scowl on his lips. "...Marukatsu... Nisuke Marukatsu." The two talked for a little, and the next day again she returned. This continued until Nisuke was released from the hospital, and was given a strange offer. The woman - her name Hanako Gyuteru - had recently been married, and she and her husband had just bought a small house. She offered to give Nisuke a place to stay, and he has lived there with her since. Nisuke is currently home-schooled by Hanako, and likes to run small errands for her.
Personality: Nisuke is very determined and head-strong. A slight temper and oftentimes saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, he always draws trouble to himself. Yet despite all of this, Nisuke is cynical and pessimistic, always expectant and seeming to know the worst of situations and of others, not to mention having a sarcastic comment to every and anything.

His Mother was a stay home Mom who was the light in Setsuna's life. His Brother was his best friend, and father figure being four years older then he was. When Setsuna turned Twelve he was moved to Japan. Once he got to Japan he was forced into starting Japanese. He attended school and was the outcast. He was picked on and mistreated, but he moved on. Soon after his Father was moved to a base camp in Kyoto to work with Japanese Government on relationships between various nations.

Biography: Shuichi has had a very rocky past. When he was younger, his parents and only sister died in a horrible car accident and he was left orphaned. This caused him to have nightmares for years afterward to the extent that he still has them when stressed or pushed near his limit. Shuichi was a problem child growing up, not understanding why things with his new family couldn't be the same as his real parents had treated him. He rebelled by getting into every kind of trouble he could devise, with the exception that he wouldn't lay a hand on children younger than him and animals. Eventually his adoptive parents sought in medicine what they couldn't do with reprimands.
The next few months were all a blur to him, his medicines were too strong to remember more than the average student with no problems or real interest in life. Nothing seemed to phase him, and he did what he was told without remark or even much of a reaction. His doctors advised his adoptive parents that it was in his own best interests to lower the strength of the prescriptions. He's still recovering from the prescriptions and as a side effect will do almost anything he's told.
Personality: Oddly enough he does have a sense of humor that does come through at times. He comes across now as a very pleasant individual, kind and always has a rather dazed smile on his face. Ryoji knows very little about himself. As a child, he was raised in an orphanage, pretty much alone and left to himself until the age of fourteen... when he vanished from any records of the country. During this time, Ryoji had traveled the country, trying to find the one thing that he knew he needed. He didn't know that this thing had a name, 'Fighter' or that this person shared the title of "Ruthless" with himself. All Ryoji knew was that he would never be complete without that other thing. And so, he searched for the next three years.
After those three years, he returned to the city he grew up in, only to enroll in a school that, rumor had it, would begin to answer some of his questions. Living alone in an apartment only blocks from the school, Ryoji fell easily into the roll of student, despite having missed his entire middle school history. He did, in fact, test into the high school and thus was allowed to enroll. Ryoji's mental abilities are outstanding, the teen scoring at the top of his class the last year. Now, finally allowed to take this specific class itself (the class on Fighters and Sacrifices), Ryoji is determined to prove himself to anyone who challenges his intellect.
One thing that is quite telling about the glasses-wearing Ryoji... having grown up without a last name, he created one himself. "God's Valley" is what "Kamiya" means, and a god-complex is certainly something that the frigid Ryoji possesses.
Personality:
Ryoji is cold and calculated. Beneath his icy exterior beats the heart of a ruthless manipulator, more interested in mind games and his own intellect than in any individual person. He has a tendency to make sharp sarcastic remarks, and to berate those he thinks are inferior to himself (which is generally everyone). If angered, Ryoji doesn't make idle threats, and tends to carry through with his words, usually to the devastation of his opponent. Biography: Aza's life was strange. She never knew her birth father, nor birth mother, nor anyone else for that matter for the longest of times. She was hospital ridden, thanks to an orphanage that knew she needed help and would give her everything they could to keep her alive. Even if that meant bringing in a special doctor. What a special doctor he was!
For the longest time, no one seen an improvement even though he had many many, many surgeries on this poor child's body. Then, as if a miracle or a change in something, Aza was better. Stronger and healthier even. The next day, she was not only brought to the shelter to be bought, but taken to a family's house. Such a grand and beautiful house it was! Though it was probably a bit smaller than what a five year old remembered, it was amazing!
Aza lived there until she turned fifteen, but it wasn't an easy life. She was put through everything. It was an experiment, said the special doctor, something that would save her life. Like her Sacrifice, Aza was changed. Everything about her had some kind of surgery on it, some kind of test, some kind of lesson that she was forced to learn or else. Punishment was harsh, cruel, and heartless, yet she could do nothing about it. She was turned into a perfect slave, a perfect creation, a perfect Fighter. Or so she was praised each night. She did not know anything outside of this life, she did not know that her Master was someone who everyone was after.
It was on her fifteenth birthday that she stumbled across a book. One book that made since to everything that she was taught. It was the book her Master's father had written, hidden within his mansion after he was supposedly killed. She learned of the world that she was in, and was proud! She was Darkness' Daughter, a perfect creation that would destroy those who went against her Master!
That was when she found another creation her Master had ordered. It was in the same hospital that she had grown up in, and the experiments were close to what Aza went through. When she looked upon the form of this female, she knew exactly what was going to happen. For the next few years, Aza made sure that her Sacrifice was taken care of. It was the first person, and only person, in Aza's life that she had ever cared about.
When she reported to her Master, a few days after finding out that they had different Masters, she found out the reason why. She was ordered not only to go with her Sacrifice, but to do what ever her Master wanted. She was also given information beyond anything else that she was given. Two days later, she knelt at the feet of her new Master. She keeps to her orders despite the fact that she hates this new Master. Her reasons are hidden and would never be given, especially to those who are around her. Unlike other pairings and despite what her Sacrifice wishes, she will not tell anything about her childhood, at least what is true, and will not tell about her reasons for hating her new Master.
Personality: Aza is a heartless female that will do anything, including torturing and killing those who stands in her way. Biography: When Noriko was in her last year of Elementary, her baby sister, Ayame (seven years old), was killed in a traffic accident. In truth, a gang of biker thugs had run her down in the street as she walked home from school with some friends. Ayame and Noriko's parents own a large pharmaceutical corporation, and were never in the country to begin with. They didn't even attend Ayame's funeral. Torn with grief and rage, Noriko left the protection of her family estate and hunted down the biker gang on her own. Gun in hand, she murdered all nine members, before wanting to end her own life.
It was then that Noriko met her "Master".
He never told her his name, but he took her in and introduced her to a group of people, once actually associated with her family's pharmaceutical group, who would, "Make the pain go away". Noriko underwent numerous medical experiments, and the end result was a woman who had heightened senses. Sight, Smell, Hearing, and Taste all functioned off the charts... except for Touch. Under the order of the "Master", that sense was left as it was. However, they had also managed to suppress the chemicals in her brain that would trigger compassion or regret... forming the perfect 'Heartless' woman.
When Noriko was fourteen and still in the hospital from her final experimental surgery, she meet Aza for the first time.
The bond that Noriko formed with Aza was the only one she ever had made before with anyone save her deceased little sister.
While she loves Aza, Noriko also has a strong desire to please their "Master", and has collected any available information on the man (who is known as Shoukatsukin Ginyuushijin). As such, she wants Heartless to be the strongest team under Ginyuushijin's command, and would do anything, including sabotage and murder, to be that team.
Personality: Noriko can be a cold and ruthless woman, so heartless that she would watch (and probably laugh) if a fire burned down an orphanage full of kids! Biography: Katsune had what many like to consider a "wounded childhood". Katsune's mother had originally been married to a very wealthy and powerful man, a man of high stature and very important to society, owning multiple companies and operating multiple businesses. Yet the man Katsune's mother was married to, was not her real father. Katsune was the child of an affair her mother had, and at the young age of three, eternally burned into Katsune's memory is the night it was found out who Katsune's true father was. That was also the night her mother "commited suicide", her 'father' had claimed.
Katsune's ears were stolen when she was only ten. Katsune really hadn't understood it was wrong, then, having never been allowed to leave the mansion, and only seeing people who didn't have their ears any longer. Who was the one that took them? Her supposed 'father'. He said it was an act to show if she really loved him or not, and Katsune only willingly went along with it, having adored her father with he being the only person in her life that would give her presents, and the one that provided her with everything. He even bought her fake ears and a tail, as though to commemorate the event of her losing her ears.
The only trouble began when staff members began trying to go after Katsune. Whether it was trying to buy her off of her father, or merely trying to force themselves on her, Katsune soon began to learn that, well.... not having her ears was a bad thing. In a small act of fear and self-reliance, Katsune erased her existance from the mansion and vanished into the world, sporting her fake ears and tail, a small amount of money, an emergency stock of food, and a change of clothes. Yet that was when she was only 12... and Katsune found that the easiest way to get by on your own as she was, involved giving up your body to get some food for the day. Katsune still lives by this rule, shacking up in the home of whoever wants her that night, and gone in the morning to find something to eat. Katsune knows not a thing about Fighters and Sacrifices, only that something inside of her starves for a single person... someone that can maybe fill the void that Katsune had felt dug into her.
Personality: Katsune is very... naive. It takes her a moment to process the real meaning of something, and oftentimes she can be easily misled. While Katsune tries to have a good heart, she just merely falls for the words that anyone will tell her. She always feels much more comfortable when someone else is in control of her.. and she has learned how to become a posession.

Biography: The second oldest sibling born. Maki lived happily with her family. When she heard that her mother was pregnant with twins she was ecstatic, however she noticed that her father didn't take it to well. Maki and Loki acted normal, living normal, well trying to live normal lives amongst the chaos of the family.

Biography: Sailo was born in only child into a middle class family. For a long while, Sailo went to an all boys prestigious academy. During the holiday season, his parents took him out to an old family restaurant where he met Maki. During the holiday season, Sailo spent alot of time with Maki, not wanting to leave her. During high school, Sailo begged his parents to let him go to the same school as Maki. Despite there differences, they let him go to the school. Where he learned about Sacrifices and fighters.

Biography: After his parents died in a climbing accident, Gin and his younger brother of three years were left alone in the world. However, having had adventure seeking parents, the two brothers had grown up relying on one another more than anyone else. It had also given Ginyuushijin the opportunity to become the most important force in his little brother's life. Having realized Jin's potential at a young age, Gin made sure Yuujinchou studied swordsmanship and, when the boy mastered the blade, moved him to a more advanced form of training... training that would define him as a Fighter.
Ginyuushijin however, was never gifted with a name. When he was young, his grandfather had told him that he was known as a 'blank', someone without a name. To make things even more confusing, his grandfather gifted him with a book, a journal really, of the last known true 'blank' in their world. That man had not only been 'blank', but had been a completely clean slate, just as Gin, neither Fighter nor Sacrifice, and completely without a true name.
Using his grandfather's help, Ginyuushijin learned all about this world of Sacrifices and Fighters. When the old man realized how dangerous Ginyuushijin was however, when he saw into the young Gin's true heart, he was appalled by what he saw, and demanded the boy be expelled from the family.
So, Ginyuushijin killed him.
Lucky for Gin, his parents were off on another adventure and Jin was too young to realize.
When Yuujinchou turned 18 years old, Ginyuushijin seduced his brother and robbed him of his ears. The task wasn't terribly hard, seeing how Jin idolized him, but in doing so, Ginyuushijin allowed Jin to glimpse his true heart, a sight that frightens Jin to this very day. The next morning, Ginyuushijin left the city, traveling north.
Within a year, Ginyuushijin had cultivated the fruits of his labors in his life. He had used his grandfather's connections to begin to build an empire for himself, and soon became rich beyond anything his family had ever dreamed of. Now, Gin spends his money on cultivating teams of Fighters and Sacrifices that have a tendency toward his perspective on the world... the darker teams of the country. He finds them, takes them in, and trains them, giving them anything they could possibly want, with the mere promise that they were to serve Ginyuushijin in any manner he saw fit. He highers some of the stronger teams out to private companies as the best security forces the world has to offer, though their existence is a closely guarded secret. The weaker teams, he has scout the world for new potential candidates to join his empire.
Currently, Ginyuushijin is closely engaged with Ryoji Kamiya, and watches the young man like a hawk due to his potential. He also allows Ryoji the satisfaction of having someone who 'loves' him, and weekly meets with Kamiya in the country for a bit of a rendezvous.
As for Yuujinchou... Ginyuushijin keeps his whereabouts to himself, and has told no one, save Ryoji, of his younger brother... or the potential that lies there, cultivated by Gin's own hands.
Personality: Gin does everything toward his own personal gain. If he dislikes something (or someone) or becomes displeased, he gets rid of the offending thing/s. His loving and caring side do exist, but they exist to get him what he truly desires and for no other reason. Charming and charismatic, Gin holds no flaws except the malevolent darkness within his own heart.

Biography: Verin had a simple life, that was until he found his true father. His mother had divorced when he was still in the womb, marrying another man right before he was born. Until he was ten, he thought this man was his true father. It was until a very simple night when he was having dinner with his family that he realized that this wasn't his father.
He was the only one to live through that night, and though he bares the mark of the fire, he hardly remembers what happened. All that he knows was that it was caused by someone, and that he was saved before he could get any worse. Over the next few years, he learned everything that his father could give him, including a history lesson. Everything was placed into him; the need for revenge against one family, the knowledge of what he was, what he would become, and what his father was and wanted him to continue.
Like his father, he was born into this world. Like his father, he had found his other half. Like his father, he had lost his other half but continued to live. He did not care for his other half, and found that he was far stronger alone than with that tag along. With a slip of words, Verin was able to leave the spell fight with one less person. It was a simple way to kill his partner, or his weaker.
From that day, he had lost his 'name' and continued on living. The fire had already broke the name's 'curse' on him, making him what one would call a Blank. He was trained as both Fighter and Sacrifice by his father, due to this. When he turned seventeen, he left his true father in the same way he left his parents. A fire that burnt his past and everything he knew. Thanks to this, he was able to inherit a beautiful mansion and many maids.
From that day, he was also hidden from the world. His dream is to take over the world, and he will do anything in his power to obtain this dream. This includes using others to help with with his conquest. Thanks to one willing soul, he did not have to appear to the world any more. Thanks to Ginyuushijin Shoukatsukin, he is able to gain what he has always wanted: the strongest and the best. He will also be able to destroy those who stand in his way and defeat the two kings that have been annoying his family from the very beginning.
