	Country back in the day was nothing like country today. These days, country is just pop music with bad steel guitar players and cowboy singers (in my opinion). Can't say I enjoy todays country. Now Jazz.... That's eternal...

	I love country music! I grew up on it. I don't much like the really old stuff (yodeling, ugh) and I don't like a lot of Gretchen Wilson, but other than that, it's really good. biggrin

	yeah I'm a country music fan. none of this new country crap though. give me Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Buck Owens. and if anyone else around doesn't like the new country, check out a Hank 3 song called "d**k in Dixie".

	I LOVE MODERN COUNTRY, I know someetimes it all sounds trhe same, but all mr Mp3 players radio presets are saved under 92.9, K-Frog all da' way, baby!

	Alot of the older country music is good. I find alot of the new stuff though it's more a mixture of pop and country. :/

I find alot of the new stuff though it's more a mixture of pop and country. :/ Yeah country was good when it was still more closely related to blues... waaay back in the day. true, rock wouldn't exist without it, but the "modern" stuff is pretty generic. I don't listen to it
