I remember reading that one of the guys who founded TAPS loves GH and is an "anime junkie" Isn't that incredibly awesome? Real ghost hunters like GH! Woot! LOL, I haven't said "woot" in years. feels kind of weird... whee

I searched the funimation blog for Ghost Hunt, and that's what I found. biggrin

Well, it is a really good anime.

And most of the facts that it tosses out seem to be accurate.
Granted, I didn't do a whole lot of checks on that, but it does seem like the creators did their research.

I remember, one time I was watching Ghost Hunters, and they were talking about young women causing poltergeists, and I was like "OMG! I remember that from Ghost Hunt!!" It's awesome when something reminds you of your favorite anime.

If I hadn't been so busy being creeped out, I probably would have laughed, but it doesn't put me much in mind of Ghost Hunt.

Well, maybe saying it reminded me of Ghost Hunt wasn't entirely true, since I was ridiculously obsessed with GH at that time, so much that I was constantly thinking about it...So I guess I was already thinking about, and than that joke was just a really funny coincidence... whee my life is weird...

It's OK to be ridiculously obsessed. Happens to me all the time.
Heck, I'm reminded of Ghost Hunt by every single song I've ever heard by this one band, just because.

Aha, and they mentioned John's hilarious accent. That's one of the main reasons I don't watch the English dub, I can't take anything the poor guy says seriously.

in the dub the way he says "Masako" sounds more like "Masacow" to me. xd

I didn't watch the dub long enough to hear stuff like that. I was just skipping through listening to everyone's voices and cracking up.

Yeah, that's kind of the rule of things. If you watch the dub first, you like it better, and if you watch the subbed version first you think the dub sucks.
