Okay, so some of you may have seen my previously failed attempts at keeping up with this thing. This time, I actually am going to try and stick with it. Because a while ago, when I lost a good amount of weight-writing down foods I ate during the day helped tremendously. So.. Here we go agian. (:

Brooke--15; Turning 16 soon
I play soccer in the winter/spring
I run cross country now, summer/fall
At home, I take walks (sometimes) and often do TurboJam [ChaleneJohnson?, hello <3]

I won't go into great detail about myself, seeing as that isn't the point.
I have a weakness for sweet stuff, bread, milk.. You get it
And eating late at night is a bad habit of mine

I used to be a thin little thing, and now.. Not so much

Current weight: I'll be mean and say 140; 135ish, probably, is more accurate
Goal weight: 120, to start off with
Height: 5'4'', 5'5''?

I would write what I ate today [September15,2009]
But it was way too much. We ran about three miles today at practice
and I walked another mile uptown. I guess that helped..

I will start tracking progress tomorrow

Also: Please feel free to share any tips, food suggestions, and such for me. I haven't had much sucess in my attemps lately with weightloss. Thanks in advance, guys.

Didn't go to school today-didn't feel well this morning. Today, my boyfriend and I have been together 7months (:

So far, I've had:
Smartpop Popcorn-30cals
Canned pineapple-300? [I usually don't count with fruit, but I should start]

About to go run three miles.

Today was very long and stressful. I had four tests D:
And another two tomorrow. Joy..

Woke up for school-Ate breakfast
Turkey sandwhich on light wheat bread-200ish
Coffee

Dinner at boyfriends-pasta
Not sure how many calories; Guessing around 600, just to be safe

Two glasses of milk before bed -300?

Total: 1,100?

Walking around school+Crosscountry practice

Not great, but It'll do

I stayed the night with my friend yesterday. I feel like I've lost weight
[I don't plan on using a scale, seeing as mine is ancient. I'm going by how my clothes fit]
Today, we woke up and ate breakfast-2 small bluberry muffins and a glass of skim milk
We walked almost two hours [1:45?]
Then I went to my boyfriends-and ate dinner (Pizza hut)

2 slices of stuffed crust pepporoni pizza
Not really healthy, but not really bad?

And I just had two glasses of whole milk; May have another?

I love milk

good on you for starting over again, that must be the hardest thing! My only advice would be to look into getting a calorie counting book or tracking online. I use www.thedailyplate.com Its really easy to over/underestimate how many calories something has, which will obviously screw with your weight loss

The thing I don't like about the daily plate is that when you exercise, it lets you add the calories you exercised in as new food. I was eating like... 2800 calories a day sometimes, I'd look at my calorie limit and go "oh, well I have 400 calories left, I *can* have the ice cream!

you dont have to let it do that, I have it set so it doesnt tell me that because I agree, its silly to eat back your deficit that you worked hard to create. Plus it doesnt *make* you eat stuff wink

Oh, thank you for the support. I know, it's extremely hard. But I'm *trying* to be very, very dedicated. I do indeed have a horrible sweet food, though. It's getting better

Last night I had quite a few shortbread cookies, tho. Not great, but everyone has their slipups, right? Also had them for breakfast ;-;

Went to school, went to practice. We ran 4 miles with a semi drizzle. Then walked uptown with a friend

A salad with a small amount of turkey in it

Pineapple

Exercise: 4mile practice run

I planned on doing more, but I had to finish a russian project. It took FOREVER

Total: 700ish

Pracitce was 4 miles plus walking up town with a friend
Did 3T [strength training video]

700 calories isn't enough in a day... no one eats 700 calories a day.

You should listen to fat2fit radio, they're on itunes or other podcatchers, they've got great advice. They'll show you how to calculate your BMR, and how to calculate your BMR at the weight you want to be. The differences in calories you should be eating are very small. Like... for me I think it's 300 calories a day I should be eating less to maintain a weight of 139, rather than 193.

Haven't been doing terrible, but not too good, lately.

I know 700 isn't enough. But like I said, it was a bad day
I have a hard time getting enough calories due to past experiences. I know it's bad to not get enough.. D:

Consumed: 760ish

We ran 5 miles at practice
I walked about 3 miles after that, just hanging out around town

Note: I know, that isn't a healthy number. But I have a hard time filling my caloric needs [healthily]

Yesterday, my eating was kind of crazy; I saw Metallica (:
Anyway..


Breakfast:
Turkey Sandwhich
Yogurt

Lunch:
Popcorn
Pineapple

Dinner?
2 semi large onion rings [round 6ish]

We went to iHop after the concert [2AM ish]
Tomato, Spinach, and Mushroom omelette
(with the pancakes included, it was about 360 calories, but I DIDNT EAT THE PANCAKES!)(:

Then I got home about 3, ate some pork rinds, drank some milk, and ate 2 slices of bread

Went to bed at about 4---Woke up for school @ 6:30

Coffee w/ creamer

Dinner was shrimp and greenbeans

I just ate some slices of turkey, because I was rather hungry

Practice was about 3 miles; Walked up town; Did TurboJam
