Story

The continent has been frozen ever since it first formed, colliding with other frozen land masses. In the eternal frozen landscape, vampires roam and are on a rampage since the war began between humans and vampires 50 years ago. An ancient vampire, powerful enough to kill anything in his way... a girl, half breed cursed with tainted blood and forced to seek help... what happens when they meet?

Name: Koriah Ishura
Age: Looks 15, but is really 145
Race: Half-human, Half-vampire
Gender: Female
Powers/Abilities/Weapons: Speed and agility, only 2 daggers
Bio: Koriah has speed unlike other humans, but she carries a curse with her. Inside her body, her blood is not red but black. This signifies that her blood is tainted and not healthy for vampires to drink. Once she has met the vampire who will taste her tainted blood no matter the cost, the curse will break on her and her blood will turn to normal. Because of her tainted blood, she has been tormented and tends to act cold towards other humans, but has never met a vampire.

Age: 529, though he appears to be 18.
Race: Pure blood Vampire
Gender: Male
Powers/Abilities/Weapons: Usual Pure Vampire powers, as well as being skilled with a sword, since he's had centuries to practice.
Bio: Adelrich is part of one of the few known pureblood Vampire families, and is the youngest of five brothers. (A.K.A., he has four brothers). His parents thought it would be good for him to go on an "adventure" of sorts, to find more purebloods that were hiding. He is currently following a lead on a certain Vampire, and believes he is close to finding him.

Blood drips on to the white snow, then a small pool of blood. Someone has been terribly injured but this blood isn't red... it's black. Koriah falls hard on to the snow, gasping for breath. She was injured by a rogue vampire and made a deep flesh wound into her stomach, but it's not deep enough for anyone to see her internal organs. Her blood is tainted and not healthy to drink... for anyone. If anyone tastes her blood, they immediately feel sick and cough it up. Because of her tainted blood, Koriah has been forced to seek help... but she can't hold on much longer. Her injury is deep and maybe she wouldn't make it to see her future.

His footsteps were light and nearly silent as he tread through the snow. His dark eyes scanned the fresh snow for the one he sought. For an instant, Adelrich thought he saw them, but as he quickly drew closer to the fallen figure, he was disappointed to find not the pureblood Vampire he had expected, but a girl, surrounded in what smelled like blood, but looked like oil. She was obviously wounded, and he couldn't just leave her.
"Miss? Miss, can I help you in any way?" He asked, crouching next to her. As he crouched, he put a hand on the hilt of the sword at his side, making sure it didn't go in the wrong direction.

Koriah rolled over on her side to find someone kneeling next to her. She spoke a few words before laying down again. "Don't... taste... my blood." She pointed to the pool of black blood next to her, then rolled over again and started to cough up her tainted blood. Koriah couldn't survive much longer in these frozen conditions, along with her being so hurt.  

[Esquillo]

Adelrich looked at the black pool that had looked like oil to him. He stood and searched the horizon for any sign of a building. Seeing what looked like a small shack, he picked the girl up gently and ran for it. Once he was standing at the door he examined the building for an instant. It looked abandoned, which was good, but it also looked like it needed some fixing. At least it would block the wind while he tended the girl's wounds. He shifted her weight carefully so he could open the door and went inside, closing the door behind him.
As soon as she was laying on the only bed in the place, Adelrich fixed it up as best he could with the materials he found and started to make something for her to eat. He could smell that she was at least part human, and knew that humans needed to eat food. The smell of whatever was in the pot disgusted him, but he had to do what he had to do.

Koriah passed out while she was being carried to the abandoned building. She laid quietly, unconscious as she didn't quite know what was going on. She didn't know what to do... whether thank the person who had saved her or walk out the door and continue with her life. She was half-vampire after all and half-breeds could be capable of surviving just as well as full breeds.  

[Esquillo]

Adelrich poured the liquid-like substance ((He doesn't know what soup is xD)) into a bowl and brought it into the room the girl was in. He put it on the nightstand by the bed and looked through the drawer for a piece of paper and something to write with. He found a small notepad toward the bottom, buried in things that he would look through later, and a black pen. On the paper he wrote:
"I went out to hunt, I'll be back in a bit.
The stuff in the bowl is for you, though it might not be hot when you wake.
Stay in this building.
~Adelrich"
He set it next to the bowl and went out to the first room he had come into. There he found his cloak and hat. He put them on and headed out the door.

Koriah slept for a few minutes and slowly opened her eyes. She saw the bowl next to her and saw the note.She didn't know who had saved her but she would remember to thank that person when they got back. She looked at the liquid inside and decided to taste it. It wasn't bad, but it had been a long time since she had anything warm to eat. She tasted some of it and kinda liked it but she only took a few bites and collapsed back on the bed, wanting to rest.
