Black Lipstick, the new pink?

I recently saw an online add saying that black was the new pink in lipstick, explaining how a certain designer has created their own black lip gloss and had a model wear it during a fashion show.

Will black lipstick become a main-stream trend? Do you think this is a bad thing? Will it compromise the individuality of the "black lipstick look"? Or do you think it will shine a positive light on the subcultures that used it first?

Eh, someone will always find a way to be an individual. All these goths wearing pink now so makes sense the mainstream wear black.

Really, alternatives and models (for certain photo shoots) are the only places where black lipstick ever appears (except for Halloween, of course). So, I highly doubt we need worry about that.

Goth as a whole is becoming popular now-a-days, but I doubt black lipstick would be big in the mainstream.

Besides, it hardly ever looks good. Just like bright red lipstick, it only looks good on certain people, and in photographs.

I bought a tube once from MAC...it made me look like a vampire prostitute. eek I never wear it.

I hardly wear lipstick in general, but when I do I wear this color called moody black, which is more of a weird burgundy color, and even then it's not the best color. My sister has this weird magenta lipstick which looks REALLY bad on ANYONE.

The only time I see people wearing it nowadays are either models in alternative photoshoots or 12 year old girls.

I never wear black lipstick.
It looks silly on me :/

i personally like black lipGLOSS but not the lipstick its just to bold for me and i think it only works if you have barley any make up on your eyes same with brite reds for me anyways and i am soo happy i finaly have a black lipgloss that doesnt make my teeth look yellow at all well i mixed it but still hot damn
