I NEED HELP!!! all my friends are dating and i feel soo left out. now every time i see my friends or other girls w/ their boyfriends i get soooooooo jealous. i cant even control it. i dont know whats going on with me. it's awful

Its perfectly normal to feel that. Just as long as your are not ruining everyone's night with being jealous its fine to feel that way.

I understand how you feel, in my group of friends, I'm one of the very few over achievers...so all my friends are getting boyfriends/girlfriends and when we hang out, I feel really lonely....
but you know, I'll find someone! and so will you! biggrin

you'll find a guy eventually, and they'll all break up with the guys thet're with eventually.
it makes no difference that they have boyfriends before you do. it's not like it's a race.
what if a guy went out with you thinking you cared about him and then found out he was just a way for you to catch up with your friends?
i don't want to sound mean, but you just need to be happy with what you have and happy for your friends. make the choice to be happy

Reminds me of... me! XD Like, everyone in my school is getting together, and its making me feel lonely. I'm not jealous though. And I'm not that lonely - but still, you know what I mean. One of my friends and this annoying, flirty boy named Justin (I think that's his name) started going out after they met. When they had just met. How stupid is that? It's the end of the school year anyways, I just don't even get it. And, plus - we're going on to middle school next year! Some of us may not even see each other again! EVER! Well, maybe in high school, but that's a 50-50 chance, ya' know. As for your problem, Jealousy happens. Maybe not to everyone, but to most people. Make sure you don't do anything to destroy people's relationships, or use boys as "points" to catch up with your friends, like June said, because it can really hurt a guy's feelings. Well, it can hurt anyone;s feelings - but you know what I mean.

I totally know what you're feeling. I'm going through the same thing.

I guess I missed it, but how old is OP? From what I can tell, you're still in middle school, right? You have PLENTY of time to find somebody you like. And that whole "fat + ugly + r not kool" thing shows that maybe you should do a little bit of maturing before you get involved with anyone. My boyfriend of almost 3 years is heavy and not the prettiest guy in the world, but he means more to me than anyone. Don't date somebody just to fit in with your friends. It'll hurt the guy's feelings and make you look bad too.
