This is a debatable fact. If you're a purist, then you only consider real anime or manga to come from Japan and be done only by Japanese. On the other hand, if you consider anime/manga to be a style of drawing, much like Impressionism is a style of painting, then Avatar is anime. Besides, I think it's pretty darn good, considering it was Nickelodeon's first attempt to have anime on their channel!
Personally, I think to say only Japanese can do true anime/manga is bull and racist. That's like saying only Mexicans can cook Mexican food.


I love Zuko! whee Especially after he goes good and becomes Aang's teacher!

I just hope they dont do a mess up things with the movie >__>

They are making a live action movie for it next summer. It looks awesome. I thought it would be really good. The person who plays Jasper in Twilight is going to play Sokka in Avatar.
