Rina walked down the street, alone as usual....Since all the people she ever cared about either left or died. It was dark outside, just the way she liked it, no one would notice her and that meant one more life would be saved. Whenever she began to care for someone, or for that matter fall in love, that person's life became a living hell. She could never figure out why that happened, but she knew it was because of her. Memories flooded back as she walked across the street. Her parents and the family members she loved died in a car crash. A semi truck and rammed into the cars side, killing everyone in the car instantly. Sadly, that day had been her birthday. Ever since then she has tried to stay anyway from everyone even though she always wants to help someone or give someone a shoulder to cry on. Rina sighed. Her personality had changed to the people around her, but it was all just a mask, to keep them safe. She was now cold, heartless, and cruel, completely the oppisite of what she truely was. Will this be the way she lives forever? Or will someone be able to change things in the end? Who stands behind all the deaths that have been happening? Well...the only way to find out is if someone joins.

Personality: Rina is nice, caring, and understanding but ever since people around her started dying....she has become cold, distant, heartless and cruel. At least it seems that way.

Powers: He doesn't have any, he just depends on luck.
Bio: Xavier's parents were killed in front of his eyes when he was little, but with all the foster parents he's gone through, his life holds no problems. When he moves to a new school and comes across a girl that seems to be cutting herself off from the world, everything changes for him.
Personality: He's caring, shy, and a bit reserved. Xavier hates big groups of people, but would go out of his way for a friend.

Rina sighed. This day had been just like all the others, stressful. It was so hard for her to stay away from everyone and act heartless, it just wasn't her. She picked up her pace, glad that school was finally over, maybe the rest of the day would be better. Looking down, she held her books close to her, hoping no one would realize she was here.

Xavier watched as Rina made her way to the exit of the school, her books cradled against her chest. He scurried away from the crowd of girls that were making their way towards him and followed her, wanting to try and figure her out. He already knew that she wasn't truly the cold person that she seemed to be, and he'd be damned if he didn't find out what type of a girl she truly was. As he caught up with her, he gave her a nervous smile, "Want a ride home?"

She looked up to see him, cursing inside her head for not getting away in time. "Um...I," she paused for a second trying to come up with something good to say. Rina looked away, she couldn't think of anything and besides it was about to start raining. "Sure." her voice was quiet but it had a cold edge to it. She looked back at him before realizing that a group of girls were following him.

Following Rina's look, Xavier looked back to see the girls from earlier coming towards him. "Oh goodie.. C'mon!" He told her, gently grabbing her wrist and leading her to the car at a fast pace. His black charger lay at the far end of the parking lot, so they had alot to go.

She was about to pull her wrist away when he starting walking. Rina kept up with him easily and slowly pulled her wrist away from his hand. She laughed a little as the girls started going faster as well. "You seem to be popular around here." she kept her eyes on the ground.

Xavier just shook his head, gently showing her to the car and turning around as the girls got closer. "Get in!" He told her frantically, going over to the other side, revving the engine, waiting for her. "And I don't like the attention." He told her.

Rina climbed into the passenger seat as some of the girls started whining that they hadn't gotten to him in time. She placed her books on her lap and put her hands on top of them so they wouldn't fall off if the car came to a sudden stop. She looked out the window, smirking a little. "Well that's too bad. They seem to love you."

"No, they just want an easy time in bed, which tehy aren't ever going to get from me." Xavier replied, easily spinning out of the parking lot. He never learned why the girls thought that he was like the other guys, willing to have sex with anyone. He just shook his head and kept driving, waiting for her directions.

"I guess so." she looked back at the street in front of them. "Do you know where Front street is?" Rina asked, since she lived there. She never liked girls or guys that always had their thoughts on nothing but sex and she never understood it either. Her smirk disappeared as she leaned back in the car seat.

Xavier nodded and proceeded to make his way to Front Street, now going at the speed limit. "So, why do you always avoid people?" He asked, 'accidentally' missing a turn that would take them onto Front Street, then deciding to take the road that would be the longest and slowest way of getting to Front Street.

She realized what he was doing and sighed, she didn't want to spend more time with him than she actually had to. "It doesn't matter and besides, it's none of your business." Rina thought about opening the door and just jumping out, it would probably work.

"That's what you think. I know that you aren't like that, yet you mask yourself as cold, and heartless." Xavier replied, increasing the speed so that she wouldn't dream of jumping out. He also did it so that he'd get her home sooner, not wanting her to hate him. The rest of the ride went by in silence, except for her giving directions.

As soon as he stopped the car in the driveway of her home she got out. "Thanks for the ride." she said before closing the car door and walking to the front door, pulling out a key from her pocket. She had gotten slightly soaked when she was standing in front of the door but she didn't care.
