KYAAAAAAAAAAA!! NEW SEASON OF FMA IS COMING OUT SOON!!! (29 days from march 7th to be excate xD)

According to the Moon Phase diary, manga release of the 20th volume of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga will feature a special announcement on the obi: a new series (yes, Moon Phase says “new season,” not second season). Sound familiar? However, Moon Phase notes that it’s unclear if Yasuhiro Irie will direct (as suggested by the allegedly leaked document that established the earlier rumors).
Moon Phase also claims that a well-informed source says the anime will be a new adaptation based more closely on the manga, which the original anime diverged from fairly early on and suggests that it may hit TVs in Japan as early as spring 2009– but of course, that’s all unconfirmed. The wraparound jacket band on the 20th volume of Hiromu Arakawa's Fullmetal Alchemist manga will confirm on Friday that a new television anime series is in the works. A new anime series was a topic of much fan discussion for several months, but it was thrust into a more public spotlight last month when a management document was purportedly leaked from the BONES anime studio. The document listed Fullmetal Alchemist animator Yasuhiro Irie as "Hagane 2 kantoku" (Iron/Fullmetal 2 director).

From what i read (and if i didn't read it wrong x3) it says that the new season will begin April 5th at 5pm (but japanese time most likely x])!!!! blaugh blaugh rofl rofl

EEEEE!
I am mega super uber excited for the new series! Mostly because I absolutely LOVE the manga storyline and I hear it's gonna be based more off that, so I'm hoping to see a few certain scenes in the new anime.

i read several of the volumes, and there were so many plots and characters that weren't in the anime > <
i really look foward to watching them in animation

I've read all the manga chapters countless times, so I could not be more excited! It's gonna be awesome. I wonder how many episodes there'll be.

i think if it follows the manga, it would be much longer than the first season because the first season cut a lot out of the manga. But, if they don't want to be repetitive, then they may not remake what was already shown in the first season, so i think it will also be around 50 episodes also.

FUNIMATION claimed liscence over the new FMA series.
So now we have to wait until April 9th to watch it on their site...
I hope someone posts it on the internet anyways....
