Since the Synchros have moved in, i havent seen many fusion or ritual monsters. I dont know if im just not seeing them or not. But an interesting thought came into my head. There have been fusion monsters that require another fusion monster... so do you think that they'll have a fusion monster that requires a synchro monster and/or vice-versa ?

Sieg Selwyn They kind of did that with /Assault Mode, did they not? confused I see what you mean Sieg, but it personally seems more like an evolution summon if nothing else. Cyber Dragon or Dark Magician are decent examples (Cyber Barrier Dragon & Dark Magician Knight respectively). I think its likely that we can get a fusion monster that requires a synchro as material, but its not too likely. I'll give it some hope.

I would rather see a Synchro requiring a Fusion monster. surprised 1 Tuner + Flame Swordsman, anyone? More power to Instant Fusion. And Flame Swordsman. On a side note of the evolution thing, - Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon > Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon - Red-Eyes Black Dragon > Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon - Vampire Lord > Vampire Genesis - Relinquished > Thousand-Eyes Restrict - Dark Flare Knight > Mirage Knight - Dark Magician > Dark Eradicator Warlock

Elspeth_Knight_Errant There was a reason why restrict was banned over relinquished sieg... I never thought that I was limited by the banned list for something that has nothing to do with tournament play, or even play at all. neutral Severed Restriction Dracomancer Barrelex I think its likely that we can get a fusion monster that requires a synchro as material, but its not too likely. I spy a contradicting sentence... : D Likeliness is to a degree, and there is a difference between "can" and "will".

I would like to see some more "Forced Evo's" to be honest. Or like make more specific Synchron cards to make Synchro Summoning a little more balanced. I think each Tuner monster should have their own personal Synchro with specific cards kinda like Fusion Summoning XD. I'd also like to see some monsters that resemble old monsters (ala Revived King Ha Des).
Imagine...something like...
Blue-Eyes Legendary Dragon 9 Stars, Dragon, LIGHT, 3700/3300 [1 The White Stone of Legend + 1 Blue-Eyes White Dragon] Once per turn, you can discard one "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your hand to destroy one card on the field. During your End Phase, if there is a "Blue-Eyes" monster in your Graveyard, you may Special Summon that monster, ignoring Summoning Conditions. When this card is destroyed, add one "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" or "The White Stone of Legend" to your hand. This card gains 300 ATK for every Dragon-type monster in your Graveyard.
Or...
Blue-Eyes Legendary Dragon/Assault Mode 9 Stars, Dragon, LIGHT, 4200/3800 This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Assault Mode Activate". Once per turn, you discard a Dragon-Type monster from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy one card on the field. During your End Phase, if there is a Dragon-type monster in your Graveyard, Special Summon the selected monster, ignoring Summoning Conditions. All your opponents Monsters lose 300 ATK for each Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard. When this card is removed from the field, Special Summon one "Blue-Eyes Legendary Dragon" from your Graveyard.
Oh I can dream can't I...

I spy a contradicting sentence... : D Likeliness is to a degree, and there is a difference between "can" and "will". At this point I have two choices, I could go the low road and bring semantics into this, i.e. I don't see the word "will" anywhere in what he said. Or I could take the high road and state that, although there is different connotation to the word likely via the contexts he used it in, it still has one literal definition that applies in the situation he used it in. If I choose to take this approach, then essentially what he said is "I think it's likely that we can get [the card], but it's not too likely." Upon reviewing I realize that my argument only holds firm if the second "likely" has emphasis applied to it as apposed to the word "too" having emphasis applied to it. When I first read what he had wrote, I placed the emphasis on the second "likely".

The guild is in reformation; one that I wish to play a part in.
In order to better the guild, I must reform how I work in the guild as well.
I'll be true and say, I will be a hard-a** when needed.
