So funny story, went to see MCR at Mad Square in May. And in front of me where some teenage boys, and I think their(or at least one of their) dad and their grandpa. And while MCR is playing the boys are texting and giving me funny looks. But the old grandpa dude was being totally cool. He was clapping and cheering and when Gerard was like 'okay pump your fists in the air' the old guy was pumpin his fist in the air. And it was so cool because so many people are all like "OmG tHe oNLy PeoPLe WHo LiSTeN To MCR aRe eMo TeeNS", but here's some old guy rockin' out at a MCR concert....just thought you guys might want to know.

Eh you're lucky.
I swear, I have a curse
The last 3 or 4 concerts I've been to (Only one of them was MCR.) I always get to stand next to, or behind a 40 something who keeps their arms folded the whole time, doesn't say a word, and just blocks your view
Needless to say, if they have the spot I want, I'll take it, weather they like it or not xD
My grandpa likes Mama for some reason sweatdrop

I hope I still have as much fun at shows when I have kids, as I do now.
And embarrass my kids for being the old fart rocking out and end up in someone's forum post.
lol

Freakin' awesome! Usually, you'd probably see a parent sitting down wondering, "Why do they listen to this?"

I went to BUZZFEST XXI last year in April a couple weeks after Gerard's birthday and had a blast. I went with a college friend and waited ALL DAY until MCR came out at 8 (it started at 1 with Theory of a Deadman).
When Finger Eleven was playing "Falling On", we were coming from the side stage when Billy Talent finished and I ran into this fat dude. He asked if I wanted a beer and to hang out with him and I said no of course since I'm not legal in the States. The dude was a pervert!
But there was this man who looked like he was in his 60s at least...just enjoying the music. Y'all should have been there...it was an awesome music festival...they do 2 a year if anyone's interested. One in April/May and one in September/October thereabouts.
