Once again she was telling me to join Gaia, a place where you earn gold by posting in forums and dressing up your avatar. Didn't sound appealing to me at the time... but I joined for her sake, just like Neopets. Now I don't think she comes to either, and I'm the one still here. D:

I'm in kind of the same boat as you Meiazure. My first account is 3/4 years old and the person who got me to play no longer plays. All my rl friends left me. emo

I think this account is 2 years.

I had n desire to play the beta because i figured that the beta would just tantalize my gamer inside, and then id never again be able to play it.

I assumed this because i also assumed it costs money though. As of yet though i still havent heard anything about whether it costs rl money or not to play.

Do any of you Zetas know?

zomg was a counter-strike meme... meaning that instead of developing out of a society of semi-educated teenagers with too much free time (where most good memes come from). It came from a network of elitist gamer fags who have no sense of taste humour, or education at all.

Like cmon i mean who can play the same map over and over with the same gun killing the same people just to try and gat another head shot, and then wine like babies when they update the game so much that the steam guys actually publish two versions of their game. The updated one and the old one for no taste no humour no education idiots.

Wow... sorry i geuss i have a bit of a persona vendetta there. Whatever the case, the"z" was just thrown on there because its "funny".

I remember them showing us a list of names that didn't make it.

I didn't think zOMG! was all that great either. It's kind of meaningless... I might've even chosen some of the other names over it.
