Welcome, and thank you for choosing Darien to accommodate you!

Here at Darien, we pride ourselves on our apartments, we make sure they are the cleanest, biggest, and cheapest around!

It should be noted however, that there are already some residents at this particular location, so please, put a smile on, and introduce yourself! After all, good friends mean happy residents!

History: Jack moved into the Darien Apartments because they were close to the University he's attending.
He's a happy guy most of the time, but has an ungodly obsession with swords and video games. Most times you'll either find him working out, playing on his computer, or sleeping.
Occupation: University Student, with a side job in doing art commissions.
Hobbies: Digital Art, gaming, working out, animating, voice acting.

Traits/Abilities: Cooking, Cleaning, Lazing about, and Being annoying.
He’s very smiley to the point of being suspicious. Understanding

Other: He is just out for a laugh, no one seems to be overly close to
him yet he is always willing to help someone if it doesn’t hurt him in
the process. Is fond of sweet food and hates raw fish. He aspires to
own a book/coffee shop.

History: Half the mystery behind Yuui is the fact that no one knows
anything concrete about his past. He keeps everything very close to
his heart where his past is concerned and may leave people wondering
about what he is hiding in his past.

Hobbies: Reading, Violin and fancy dress (on special occasions which
are not few and far between).

Favorite phrase: Hindsight is 20/20 vision.

PProfession: Yuui owns a quiet corner coffee shop that contains a
certain eccentric twist in furnishing. Decorated to suit all and
any celebrations it is homely and warm. The cakes are especially
sweet but he cater to the more savory of palettes. His coffee is
supposedly to die for .

Appearance:

History: An obsessive studier, Gwen
passed through high school and
University easily, grade-wise at least.
She majored in art history, a passion
she's had since childhood (though her
actual art skills are very much
lacking). She got a job working a desk
job at a museum for a year, but that was
too stifling for her, being so near the
exhibits but not being able to see them.
She eventually left that job for another
working at a museum specializing in
Renaissance artwork, leading tours for
school groups. She got an apartment at
the Darien Experience, a new building
promising to be the best. A calm person
at the best of times, Gwen is easily
stressed out over problems (the trait
that had her studying maniacally
throughout school) and tends to drink
way too much coffee. She is generally
kind towards others, except if you
insult Renaissance art.
Occupation: Museum curator/tour guide
Hobbies: She actually quite likes to cook.

Character Name: Mimmy
Age: 17
Appearance: Short, cotton-candy pink hair. Big and bright cerulean eyes. She is barely 5ft tall and is often mistaken for a middle school girl.


Personality: Usually a kind and naive girl but she can have quite a nasty attitude if you anger her. Mimmy loves insulting others for fun, but its also how she show affection. Although she seems like she is fully capable by herself she hates being alone.
Mimmy loves to bake and aspires to become a pastry chef. She also enjoys drawing, but mostly quick sketches and doodles.
Hobbies: Loves baking and drawing.
Occupation: Senior in High school.

Jack grinned, putting the key in the door to Apartment 3, twisting it, and pushing it open. "Oh, this is gonna be fun!" He brushed some strands of his raven black hair away from his eyes, before picking up all his bags and walking in. "Wonder who else is here...?"

Dragging his european suitcase across the ground, Yuui just caught the figure of a man dissapearing into his own appartment.

With a smile he continued to drag his suitcase, wondering on whether a kettle, hairdryer and 5 pairs of jeans were necessary when boxes full of similar belongings were due to arrive. He finally reached his door, number two, and turned the key in the lock.

Bumping the door with his hips it fell open with a slight creak.

"Hyuu, it's huge!"

Gwen quickly wheeled around to exit the revolving doors in the front lobby of her new apartment building. She strained to keep her balance while holding three boxes, one on top of the other. She had to peek around the side of them to see where she was going.

In the elevator Gwen put the boxes down to rest her arms, she had carried those boxes all the way from the parking lot, in which she had parked as far away from the door as she could. Health tip # 5: park away from the entrance of a building so you can walk to get more exercise. Damn those health tips, got me carrying these all the way across a parking lot...

When the elevator door opened she had to rush to pick the boxes up again before the door closed, she ended up kicking the smallest down the hallway. Her room seemed ages away, #4, but when she reached it and got inside, it was worth it. The room was huge, spacious with high ceilings, she peeked around the corner, with a fully equipped kitchen too. Gwen dropped the other boxes none too gracefully and continued to admire her new living space.

Jack peeked out of the door, seeing the two next to him were open. "Woo, new neighbours!" He grinned, deciding to look in on number 4 first.
Inside, there was a pile of boxes, they a looked as if someone had just dropped them. Jack knocked on the door. "Hello?"

Gwen turned around at the sound of the knocking on her door. She was in her kitchen poking around, judging if there was enough storage space for her. She walked back to the front door, to see a young man with black hair standing there. Guessing that he was to be one of her neighbours, she introduced herself first.

"Hi there, I'm Gwen, Gwen Carrol. I'm assuming that you're one of my neighbours?"

Jack grinned, holding his hand out. "I'm Jack Spirit. Nice to meet you Gwen. And yeah, I live right next door!"

"Nice to meet you to, Jack. Just a quick question, is your apartment as big as this? I mean, the rent here is so cheap, how could they afford places so big?" She said this as she was looking around the room again. "Not that I'm complaining or anything though..."

Jack nodded. "Yeah, mine is just as big. Kinda amazing isn't it?" Jack smiled. "So, what do you do Gwen? I'm a student at the nearby Uni."
