you'r my friend and that is true,
but the gift was given from me to you.
we went thru moments that were good and bad,
even moments that were happy and sad.
you suported me when i was in tears,
we stuck together when we were in fear,

its really sad that it had to be this way,
but it has reached its very last day.
miles away cant keep us apart,
'cause you'll always be in my heart.



This is a poem i wrote....about a year ago and it was inspired by me moving from my hometown and leaving everyone behind....*sighs* i still get a little sad about it sometimes

Wild at Heart
This is a poem I wrote about what I feel a guys reall Wants/Needs are.
It's called "Wild at Heart"

Wild at Heart

I search all through the forest
I search across the sea.
I trek across the mountains,
Go as far as the eye can see.

My heart longs for the epic battle,
My heart longs for the beauty fair.
My heart longs for an adventure,
The wind whipping in my hair.

I want to go out and find myself,
I want to go around...be me.
I want to let go of the reins,
Let my heart go...be free.

I put on my armor, pull out my sword,
To save her from the dragon.
I pull out my gun, get on my horse,
Go west with my wife and wagon.

You cannot tame a wild heart,
It will go do whatever it wants.
All you have to do is let it go,
Not care about everyones taunts.

In conclusion to my poem
This is what I tell all of you who dare.
Go get your big adventure.
Your battle, and your beauty fair!

Wow...they're all beautiful. Sadly, I don't write anymore. When I did I didn't have anybody to share them with so I found it pointless. Maybe I'll start up again.

I'm the same way. Only I write about things that are very personal to me and some things I just don't want other people seeing. I'm very shy when it comes to sharing my work.

Late Night Poetry
A late night poem about my father.

Memories of a bottled past.

Swift beams of light
Float down to your skin
A deep warmth comes
From deep within
And all I want
is to be near you
I just hope
You feel that way too
But the fact of the matter
is I'll never measure up
To the guy that replaced me
And filled your cup
your happy now
laying at night with him
and the outlook for my future
looks awful dim
I say to myself
I'm glad your happy
but it's just a lie
I want you with me.
It's not gonna happen
that's only a dream
I just wish I had a voucher
I could redeem
That would give me one more chance
At the life I should have had
Before I messed up
I messed up real bad
I never thought the drugs
would take me that far
that I would lose everything
Even my car
but more damaging then that
is what else is gone
My kids and wife
I should have known all along
So now i lay down
in my bed at night
and think about
that last big fight
i'm better now
but it's too late
I've got no one but myself
to blame for my fate
I started over new
have a step daughter and wife
but they'll never replace
my old life
I guess what i'm saying
To most of you all
Is you will not realize
before you fall
when you hit the ground
you will come to find out
that it may feel god
but there is no doubt
it's not worth the loss
you will have in the end.
So please, please
Learn from my mistake, my friend.

I am so happy to see ones posting here. All your works are very good! I simply love them! Keep bringing us more as I'm sure others will enjoy them as well!

@ Rosie, I have not read the Twilight series but all i hear is good about them!! I used to be an avid reader, but now I'm lucky to read a letter..lol~
