I'm doing this because I don't feel too confident about my knowledge right now... might as well have a taste of what I want to get into before fully immersing myself in it.
Studying political economy, that is.
So uhh...
Do you guys know of any really good academic journals and/or news magazines I should read to have a better sense of world issues?
I'm trying to look for an unbiased of a perspective in the academic journal as possible. As for the magazines or even online news websites, I might need something a bit more right-wing to counteract my reading CS Monitor and The Guardian... or once again, something unbiased.

lol. I read that magazine already. I used to pick up The Wilson Quarterly and Adbusters too, but I don't know if they're going to serve this particular purpose.

Taxi Mama I hear the BBC does great coverage of the USA. Hmm... is it biased more towards right wing or left wing?

NomNomNominal Taxi Mama I hear the BBC does great coverage of the USA. Hmm... is it biased more towards right wing or left wing? They have completely different politics over in Europe, and they view us through their own worldview. My own political views are focused on social issues, and I'm completely uninformed about economic viewpoints overseas. Sorry.
