I have a big fish tank full of gold fish and 3 African clawed frogs. 2 of them are albino. A couple days ago my boyfriend bought an Algea eater for $20. It was huge. bigger than out biggest goldfish. I warned him not to put it in with the frogs. A couple years ago they ate the other 2 we put in there, but they were much much smaller. So I figured maybe they wouldn't bother this one because he was like 4 times their size. A little while ago I noticed Shrek, our regular African clawed frog stuffing something in his mouth and I was trying to figure out what it was. Well some fell out the corner of his mouth and it looked like the algea eater. Mike and I looked all over the tank and its no where to be found surprised They must have shredded it first and then ate him. There aren't even any bones surprised Mikes really mad, and tried to punch the frog in the tank. Now he wants to get rid of them. I can't really blame him I guess, even though I did tell him not to put it in there. I wonder when he will start listening to me. What a waste of $20. I could have bought a couple of $10 gaia cards and got some fish that the frog couldn't eat. blaugh

oh i love frogs! I have two resident "tree frogs", the big ones, that hang out in a plant that I keep outdoors. The plant is planted inside of a hallowed out log - i guess they didn't know the difference ^_^ I haven't seenthem lately though, i think because the weather is getting cool.
