Wow. Hes good but he could of slowed it down a bit more. I could hear some mistakes but overall, the boy is talented! =)

Edit - I wouldn't say prodigy but hes getting there. If he played it by ear then that's a different story.

... eek My piano teacher was like that. I had her for 7 years. She'd hit my hand with a ruler. Really hard, and my parents didn't mind. They thought it was perfectly normal.

Heavy criticizing is enough. Being harsh is good for a coach. You know, have a piano teach that go "You suck. Try again." I guess a hard hit or two would be fine if you made a mistake on like every note.

Err hitting others isn't exactly normal. Self restraint is more common... Being harsh for a coach is also normal not abusive....

He's really good and all but how much you want to bet that his parents were immigrants and pressure his a** off to be successful in life and have straight As in schooling, learn the piano and/or violin/other string instrument, marry a [whatever ethnicity he is of] woman and have children?
