Thanks for making me open a beer.... My favorite is Spotted Cow, a local beer with a great many fans in WI. I also like Bud and Red Dog too.

I'm fond of:
1. My dad's homebrew. He's a chemist by profession, and it shows -- he knows how to get excellent results by following his recipes precisely and by altering them in tiny ways to hone the flavors.
2. Microbreweries' offerings.
3. Porter, stout, and other very dark beers.
4. Nut Brown Ale, Goose Island, Guiness (sometimes, in the right mood), the very occasional Sam Adams... but mostly, I like the seasonal beers that come from very fine breweries.
If a beer comes in a can, it's pretty much a guarantee that I'll hate it. Pilsner (American fizzy-pee) beers? I can't STAND that stuff. It's so obviously cheap.

I generally live the "High Life" myself. Although, living in WI for a while made me appreciate Lienenkugel's. $3 pitchers during happy hour at the local watering hole!

Anything thats not light and that is Canadian. But then again I am Canadian and think we got the second best beer in the world. First is the UK that got nice strong beer.

I tend to live off of Rickard's Red, Guiness or some ciders. That and I like trying imported beers and microbrewery beers. I tend to prefer red beers in general.
