And Know of Any Definate Job Openings?
I am in dire need of a job to support myself and my daughter.
I have been applying like Crazy to places and they always say that I am over Qualified or I live to Far.
I am sick of sleeping on the floor...I want a bed.
I want to be able to do something with myself.
I am being Serious.
If you know anything..Please let me know.
You can leave messages if you want...It would make me feel better

I'm sorry that I don't live in New York, otherwise I'd be really glad to try to help you out. I sleep on a metal futon, which is almost as bad as sleeping on the floor. Does your daughter at least have a bed? Maybe you should get in contact with DHHS for food stamps and support. A social worker/case manager might be able to help you with the job and living situation as well. They often have connections to things like cheap beds and will be more than willing to help you search for a job.
The closest I am to New York is Maine... I've been having trouble getting a job as well, even though I'm looking for part-time work only because I live on disability.

I'm in NYC and am in a finacial bind of my own. Still, this may help
I was told that Payless was hiring on the corner of Fulton Mall and Bond Street. I also found that A Cook's Companion on Atlantic Avenue (right off of Court street, walking toward Sahadi's) was also hiring.
Those are the only things I can suggest. Good Luck.

i dont know where in new york you live............. but i just read in the newspaper that the christmas tree shop in deerpark is hiring biggrin i guess theyre opening up this fall?
