Hello everyone, and thank you for welcoming me to this guild.

My name is Daveykins FoxFire, and I've been a former fanfiction writer and web cartoonist for over a decade. Unfortunately the quality of my work depends on what kind of day I'm having and how bad the flames I've gotten previously. I've recently switched to writing traditional fiction and publishing it on Lulu.com, which has granted me better success and responses.

My first book was a spin off of the Peter Pan story named Lost Boy Found, where a former Lost Boy ends up an amnesiac in Vegas and, while finding out who he was turns Sin City into his own take on Neverland. I'm also making a series of novels and comics based on a popular title I have, "Scarlet PI." It's based on amusement park character costumes to technologicaly advanced, they are both sentient and able to physicaly and mentally merge into their wearers. The title character joins the Orange County Police in the Central Florida area, using the many Amusement Parks there as her beat as well as hunting down a rogue Park so evil, it makes Michael Eisner look like a boy scout.

My recent project seems to be taking most of my time: It is a rewrite of one of my oldest stories, the Sonic-themed Fanfict "Blood and Metal." I intend to rewrite the story into a completely original world, and the world building has become the lions share of the current second draft. Right now I'm collecting all of the notes I have into a single notebook and will transfer it to a web site that I'll share with others in due time.

It might be of a surprise to some, but I am no spring chicken. My birthday is May 2, 1969, which makes me quite old enough to start being sensitive to my age. But I show my age really well; some would think I'm in my early 30s or in my college years. I feel very good about that, provided that I don't think too much about my blood pressure or the aches and pains in my bones razz

I'm basically here for support for my fledgling career, with receptive eyes and ears to bat ideas around, as well as to help proofread and edit books when they go into public beta states (what I call the late stages of the book when I feel that I could share it with others to help me look for typos, errors, and places in the book that need fixing that I can't find myself.

Well, part of the reason why I got into this group is to find kindred spirits and have an extra pair of ears to look over my projects. (As long as it's in a civil tone, I don't even mind people being grammatically a**l over it as well.) I look forward to showing everyone what I can dream up.

Right now I'm reworking my web page, and I'm just about finished. I need to get a portrait done both for the web page and at the back of my books, which I'll get to this week.

What can I say, it's a classical reference. And some people do claim that I'm pure 3v1L, heh heh heh.
