In going through our requests, I'm seeing a lot of new geezers who are from outside the US ~ WAY COOL ~ but struggle with posting as English is their second (or third, etc) language. As I don't speak a language other than English, things may get lost in translation...
Just a topic for those who speak a language other than English and sometimes struggle with having their posts understood.

Well, I am from outside the US (BC, Canada) but unfortunately I do not speak any language besides English and some VERY simple French.

Im from Iceland actually :3 Though I do not struggle with the language, Icelandic is my main (and considered among the world's most difficult), and English my second, and Danish my third....

well, I'm from germany so german is my first language. I learned english in school and need it every day, but I'm not good enough or perfect after 20 years now, since I started to learn it crying but I had no probs yet to talk or write with everyone.... I started to learn japanese, but it's hard xp

I'm from El Salvador, a very small country in Central America, and I speak both English and Spanish. I'd be happy to translate for those who speak spanish biggrin

I am from Costa Rica, another small country in Central America. It's bigger than El Salvador, though. Nya nya nya XD j/k I speak spanis as my first language, and started learning english when I was 3, so I can manage :3 I'm also on my 3rd year of japanese

... Mexican here... as you all may know... spanish is my main lenguage... blah blah blah... learned english while playing video games... and japanese... the more you want to learn it, the more of a frikie you are... <

I'm from sweden so my first language is swedish and my second english. But I consider myself to be pretty good at english.

well, i can traslate portuguese if someone needs... stare (i doubt you will) i'm from Brazil, and i think that icelandic isnt the hardest one in the world, i guess it's mandarim! stare

Miss Sweden of 83 I'm from sweden so my first language is swedish and my second english. But I consider myself to be pretty good at english. Hi fellow-Skandinavian. *Waves from Finland*. So I'm from Finland and I speak finnish, english, swedish and a little bit of german and russian. English is easy compared to russian...

I'm from germany, so my native language is german too. But I feel home in the english language as well and I've learned French for 4 years in school (I'm always surprised what I know / still know) And today I'm learning japanese and spanish. Friends are helping me with these
