In going through our requests, I'm seeing a lot of new geezers who are from outside the US ~ WAY COOL ~ but struggle with posting as English is their second (or third, etc) language. As I don't speak a language other than English, things may get lost in translation...

Just a topic for those who speak a language other than English and sometimes struggle with having their posts understood.

Well, I am from outside the US (BC, Canada) but unfortunately I do not speak any language besides English and some VERY simple French.

Though I do not struggle with the language, Icelandic is my main (and considered among the world's most difficult), and English my second, and Danish my third....

I learned english in school and need it every day, but I'm not good enough or perfect after 20 years now, since I started to learn it crying but I had no probs yet to talk or write with everyone.... I started to learn japanese, but it's hard xp

I'm from El Salvador, a very small country in Central America, and I speak both English and Spanish. I'd be happy to translate for those who speak spanish biggrin

After going threw so many join requests, this is a wonderful idea. I could have used a few translators then.

And today I'm learning japanese and spanish. Friends are helping me with these
