Have you ever taken part in a pie eating contest?
Should pie eating be an Olympic sport?

And pie eating SHOULD be an olypic sport. However, I myself am sorry to say that I haven't indulged in the great sport myself...

I havent ever taken part in a contest.

My pies have always been solitary pies. I think the last one must have been a macaroni pie, back when the weather was nice enough to sit on the sea wall.

It should be an Olympic sport, after all the Olympics should represent all types of sports person.

Weebl and Bob are indeed pretty good.
And yes, pie-eating should be an olympic sport. But it shouldn't be a contest to see who can consume the most pies. That would be grotesque and altogether American. It should be a contest to see who can eat the best pie in the nicest possibly way.

Ah, but if that were the case, Ph_ish, the person who doesn't eat the pie would win, for it is rude to eat while others around you aren't eating wink .
But if it were down to eating the most pies we'd have to get some real Beer-Belly, like a Yorkshire CAMRA man with a big beard and no hair on his head.

Speaking of Weebl and Bob, I once met Jonti in a pub in some dodgy end of London. He was pissed...but drinking Coke? Nice bloke.

Well, there would be different competitions. Pie-eating is a general term.
Hmm...maybe pie-eating is American. Maybe it should be pastie-eating.

Unfortunately Britian would not be pie-eating champions as, unknowingly to most, we are being beaten by New Zealand already.

Man, those guys love their pies. They even have steak and cheese ones, but you can't find a bloody sandwich anywhere.


FACT: In much of Scotland you can buy Macaroni, Lasagne and battered pies. I kid you not.
