The baneblade that I made yesterday. Sorry about the camera, I'm using the laptop's built in, and that's not very mobile. Now I need something to blow up.

This is my custom made AAA gun i used autocannons from the heavy weapons set, dozer blade tracks, and other odd parts from the leman set. and a promethium tank part and rocket launcher from the guard infantry set.

hey hey! nice piece of converting! to improve it, i would remove the rocket launcher and add another pair of autocannons above the current 2. but other than that, nice!

ok cool, since I just made another one, I removed the added on other half of the ammo drum and attached another auto cannon to the 1/2 of the ammo drum that the autocannon already has, and now it looks ok, problem is, i'm out of autocannons so now my new one's only got 3 O.o

Add some crude sights to that AA battery and it'll look suitably orky!

Speed-painting a model that cost $100...?

My point is more, why are you doing a rushed paint job on a model that's worth so much? Oughtn't it be worth some careful work?

... i sprayed my friends baneblade (chaos black spaycan) then sprayed it again using the citidel spray gun, with a 50/50 mix of Codex Grey and H20, lol

it looks pretty good, then we added the neccasery details and stuff using a fine brush. it is fully coloured and done in like 2 hours.

im getting one of my own, which i will spend a LOT more time on. making my blade look like this (i dont play d.angels so it will be all mechanicus-y instead, but it will be like an artwork on the hull of the model)

also, yes, i am going back to my admech marines, i got bored of salamanders, so the commander with the melta-stick will be used as a display model (like my 2 templar tanks) and maybe added on very rare occasions to games (like my 2 templar tanks) lol

ive given up on my baneblade
im giving it to my roommates dad to paint and put together
i managed to put the left track piece all together and paint most of it
but
no
never again
it took me about 2 months
im too nit-picky with it, and its such a big project, it was almost stressing me out lol
