Well, firstly, welcome! Woo!
It's pretty easy, once you get used to what the subforums are for, and yeah, most everything is centred around BL and yaoi. The main section is for threads (mostly discussion type things) on anything and everything yaoi, BL/shounen-ai and slash related in general.
The pocky shop is where to go if you want to find or make a thread on particular series, the play house for role-plays. Picture post is as easy as it sounds, and news flash is, well, news.
Rant and Rave is for voicing your opinion, and having discussions, on any number of things. Something bugging you, or just on your mind? That's the place to go. 3nodding
Chatterbox is for, well, everything else.
And the Graveyard is where old and obsolete threads go to die. pirate

The constitution of the main forum should have more details, as well as the ones for each subforum. It takes a little while, but soon you should have an idea of which ones you like posting in most.
If you have any questions that aren't answered in the threads for each subforum, don't hesitate to ask a mod. We're here to keep everything running smoothly for everyone, after all.
