So, if you just joined your going to start out as a kit- but you already knew that. To graduate into apprentice- then warrior or Medicine cat you have to post in one of these forms.
First, choose one of the five clans. Either SnowClan, MoonClan, WoodClan, PebbleClan, or FireClan.
Once you've chosen, let's say you chose PebbleClan, click on the fourm that says PebbleClan. Easy, right?
Then post your profile in that forum- say your gaia username, your cat name, clan, rank, and appearance, example-
Gaia name: Stinkerz Bell
Cat name: Bearclaw
Clan: SnowClan
Position: Deputy

And now you get to do the most fun part of all- roleplay as your new cat. Go around, talk, hunt, get in trouble, what ever you want. After a while, the leader of your clan will premote you to a higher rank. So now little Bearkit has become Bearpaw! As an apprentice you will have a mentor- to train with your mentor go to the New Apprentice Training forum- located at the first group of of forums. There you will train with your mentor until you finally become a warrior/medicine cat- this time you get to choose your warrior or medicine cat name- like how I chose Bearclaw!
Sometimes a leader or deputy "dies" or sometimes we don't have a someone to play that role so we make up people. If anything like that is around you can try to go for that position. If you are going for Medicine Cat, there are three positions open in every clan.
There's also "other" roleplays here. Roleplays that have nothing to do with the clans. Feel free to make and join those too!
