I just wanted a game where I could restart it when I felt like it, and still have my progress on Diamond.

Just started playing Pearl, so no friend code for it yet. I selected Turtwig as the starter.

I actually prefer water starters as my first pokemon, but since I chose Piplup as my starter in Diamond I chose Turtwig in Pearl. Mostly because the game is an entirely different experience depending on which starter you chose. ^^

I might use Chimchar in Platinum when it is released, unless I decide to start over in Pearl again. ^^

My sister has Pearl, otherwise I'd have bought it by now. Can't wait for Platinum. I'm probably gonna choose Piplup for Platinum, since my sister used Turtwig on Pearl, and I chose Chimchar. But I don't know, I really love Chimchar.....but Piplup was always my second choice...I dunno yet. I also don't know if I'm still gonna use a female character on Platinum. When I got Ruby I chose to use the male just because he was different.....but I like playing as a girl, I had to play as a boy in the old games....I dunno. Oh well. ^-^

I play as a girl on Pearl. Going pretty well in fact, I am currently breeding misdreavus and trading them for the other starters on the GTS (I started with Turtwig) ^^

I saw a Riolu on the GTS that was named Chimchar, which was really annoying because I was searching for Chimchars.
