SkippyDawggg was looking for Panic stuff when she stumbled across lyrics for a song called, "Matrimony is Leading The Way to Preplanned Alchemy" and another song that has a really long title with a quote from Fight Club.
It says it's by Panic, but we can't find a clip of the song.
And the lyrics were really interesting.

I think it's either a song they scrapped or from when they were "Jesus Titties"xD or a song for the new album.
Help?

You mean like this
lyric?
Or for lazy people like me. You mean these?

A minute of perfection was worth the effort. A moment was the most you could ever expect from perfection.
I'm a half-completed crossword
Find your school: city state search
Oh look! Oh look! She's become a model now
Crash her wedding, she's wearing red shoes
but she hasn't a thing to wear
I'm a fighting man, but I've no hands
But if you like, I guess, I mean, I guess I could tie the boxing gloves on anyway
One boxing match in the church baby, a shotgun wedding
With boxing gloves instead of a shotgun, baby

Matrimony is Paving the Way for Preplanned Alchemy
As the rain falls, my umbrella doesn't always work
drip drop drip drop splish splashing in my brain
It's a flood honey, a real mach five
Oh dear, I fear a dreadful drizzle my dear
It's time to fly south with the mice
Dripping dripping dripping in my Sunday morning tea
One lump or two? How do you do? It's the monopoly guy
These mice aren't blind, baby, but I guess they don't see the light
But you know, maybe it's just dark or something baby, I don't know
It could be the wool pulled over their eyes
by father time or a gardening bird
I like to write but my hands aren't working for me
I've just created the unabated understatement of the century
It could be the wool pulled over my eyes
but that's just a refrain

I wouldn't think so, since this lyrics was posted on a journal on December 28,
2006 on Buzznet, which I really don't find that reliable, somewhat.

I'm confused. sweatdrop
oh wait...i read the thing.
I don't think they are lyrics that they wrote because of the date Taka said and if that's true their like re-righting some of there songs with those lyrics.

What if they'll add it to their new album, they probably thought it didn't fit in Pretty. Odd. Oh well, we'll have to see!

Thier "old name" or it's rumored anyway.
They never completely confirmed it.

Panic at the Disco @ SongMeanings

There are 3 songs (including "Matrimony...") that no one's heard of.

These could be a goof, they could be scraped together by snippets PATD has written, or they could be by a smart lyricist who wants some attention.

They aren't bad.

Toast the fine folks casting silver crumbs to us from the dock.
Jinxed things ringing as they leak through tiny cracks in the boardwalk.
Scarecrow, now it's time to hatch sprouting suns and ageless daughters.
Don't you know? Don't you know that those watermelon smiles just can't ripen underwater?
Just can't ripen underwater.

There was mention of these a long time ago.

But it's true, their origin is not confirmed.

Those are all before when Pretty. Odd. came out. I think someone just made those all up to get people to think that Panic At The Disco wrote them for their 2nd album. rolleyes Or maybe those are just songs that Panic scrapped, and just somehow...someway...ended up on the internet. But I doubt that 2nd guess.

LOL@the second guess.
I think somebody else wrote it, made a long title, and slapped "Panic at the Disco" as the label. rolleyes

Because...I don't know...they like to poke fun at Panic's style.
I found these lyrics when Feverwas released so... neutral

First Try I know for a fact it was written when Bdon was 14 years old, because I have it on my iPod and it's definatly Bdon's voice, only younger.
It's effing adorable.

Well, I agree with you.

But like, Brendon has never been asked if that's him.
So we can't know for sure.
