Recently, I finished watching the Gakeun Heaven anime series. I loved it. The sexual repression and tension was great. I adored the canon pairing and cheered for Kazuki all the way. The series was short, however, and the ending was, I felt abrupt and rushed.
Honestly, the build-up to the kiss was great but....there was no action. sad I do realize it is a shonen-ai series, but a little tongue would've been nice. Although I realize it is a pure pairing.
I also think it was hinted at that the two had sex/made love. The next morning, Keita says omething along the lines of "I'm only late because of you, Kazuki." Oo la la.
Overall, good cute series. And eye candy: Niwa!!.
What do you guys think?

The manga and the BL game both have mature content and are rated 18+. The anime was considerably toned down to PG-13 and it was still cute. If you play the BL game, you can pair Keita with anyone and I think you can pair the others together, although that part I'm not sure; you'll need to ask someone who's played the game.
I know in the manga, Keita ends up with the King in one volume and with Nakajima in another volume.

Ahh yes I read about the game. Where can you get it? I so want it, but not until I leave the house ha ha.
And there's a manga version?! Yay! Can I get it at Barnes and Nobles or would it have to be a specialty store?
The anime was cute. I wish there was more emphasis on the other pairings though. Heh.

I love watching the introductions where you heard two of the boys talking about something totally perverted and random. And then, they were eating or doing something like playing chess. blaugh As for the ending, it did feel rushed. I didn't like how they threw all that information to us right at the end and then it was "okay, now we can kiss." haha.
There is a game? Ohh.

The Manga does have a lot more "action" and a different pairing at the end, but the anime series is still sweet and great fun to watch!
