Okay, there is no such offical thing as the MCR Projekt, but it sounded like a cool name to give the topic to talk about what I've done in my free time.
I've make jewelry from MCR songs!!!!
:Explination:
I am a jewelry maker in my free time, and one month ago when my sister told me the Christian camp I was going to was full of "perky people".... I kew I probably wouldn't fit in at all!! They did not allow you to bring your iPod and there is no such thing as cell service in mountains in Virginia, so I though... I'm going to have no way to bring the Black Parade with me!
Then, I got an idea!!!
I grabbed 26 colors of seed beads
(very small glass beads about the size of a medium-sized tick (for those who have seen one) or sesame seed (a little thicker because it's three-d, but take the width, that's a little smaller then a seed-bead's length)
and put them in order of how the rainbow goes
(For instance it goes: clear white, semi clear white, solid white, light pink, darker pink, light red... so on and so forth)
Now, you know how there is 26 letters in the english language?
(If not, now you know)
And I labeled each color in rainbow order by the alphabet!
(For instance: clear white=A, semi clear white=B.... so on and so forth)
Then, I took "The End" and wrote it out on a sheet of paper
(The version of the song (if you could call anything else you find a version) was straight off the CD lyrics wirtten there)
And then I spelled out the song with beads on metal beading wire!!
Follow?
So, lets rexamine
(soo sorry if you already got it, I'm just reitterating)
The first line of the song
"Now Come one Come all"
Translates into...
"Fuzzygreen+solidgreen+purple (black tube bead space between words) Solidwhite+solidgreen+golden yellow+darkpink(black tube bead space)...."
So on and so forth
Follow?
!!!EVIDENCE!!!
Not that you'd guys would call me a liar...
But I scanned it since it's not too thick!!
Nice eh?
It starts where the "O" part of the catch is and ends at... the other end.
Since then, I have made two other song bracelets, "Welcome to the Black Parade" and "Famous Last Words"
(Note: "Welcome to the Black Parade" took two days and six feet of metal.... Not demanding praise but it would be nice if you guys insert a eek just for how sore my butt was after sitting on hard, hard carpet for two days straight.... Or you can just say I'm bragging too much, it's all good)
I hope to be making more, as long as my butt holds out on sitting for long periods of time on the floor and I don't spill all my "I"s again!!
What cha'll think???
If you have a projekt like this, please post here!
I have a few up comming ideas I'll leave here but only if you guys atleast comment or try and partisipate!!! 4laugh
(Note: I support Bob's solo project! wink )
