Lately I've been playing Maple again. Well, one of my friends has Maple also, but he plays on a different server. Luckily I had already made a character on that server, but she's a very low level.

So I've been spending my time leveling up and getting items.

It makes you think back though, yeah, it might be easy to kill all the monsters now, but what about back before you were even high enough to get a class?

It is harder than I remembered. But I also had help leveling on my main (A high leveled friend took me into highly populated areas and helped me get EXP). @.@

I remember when I first started (the first time) getting to level 12 was a breeze and I could easily do it within a night.

I dunno if it's because I'm spoiled now but every time I make a new character the first 10 levels are the hardest.

Yeah, I got to level 22 I think in like 5 days on my main, now I'm a bit over 9 and it's been a couple weeks of playing. x.x

Uggg, it gave me a quest to go to Sleepywood and talk to the alchemist or whatever, so I had someone escort me through there, and I can't find the town. @.@

And it's giving me "Magician Jobs" that I honestly don't remember doing before. o.o;

It's one of the new "fake" bosses that Nexon has come out with. They drop anniversary cakes and random items when they die. That one in particular has like 10k hp and they appear randomly in certain maps. These "fake" bosses came out for their anniversary month and what not so they should be gone soon.

Back to the topic: I have a 107 Priest and recently made a bunch of newer characters and I still find it quite easy. Especially with these new job training quests that give you a lot of potions and extra exp that helps you get through your levels faster. I find 1-10 easily do-able in 30 mintues to an hour tops. You just have to know what to kill. The levels that I find most difficult is 25ish to 30. On my recently created archer I made it from 1 to 25 in 2 days and after you hit 25 everything kinda just slows down a ton even if you are kPQing. Well, I feel as if I've written too much.

My thoughts in a nutshell: 1-25 easy, 25+ hell.
Weird monster = retartded fake bosses.

I'm really starting to dislike those fake bosses. They kill me before I can even get away. DX I lost like 50% of EXP to them today alone.

On Topic: I did gain one level today, so I am up to level 26. I think it's a bit easier. Even if I am fighting a higher level monster, it still only takes a few spells to kill it. As long as it isn't too much higher.

I'm hoping to get to 28 soon though, then I can use my new wand. xD

I actually want to do some party quests, I did one before and got a scroll and a bunch of exp from it. I've been doing a lot of regular quests lately though.

And today I was training a friend. I actually got a pretty good equip from one of the stumps I killed, the dark ones, today. But it was for a warrior, so I gave it to him to use when he gets to that level.

yea on your main, you're so use to the rapid exp gain, now when you start over as a new character, its so hard to lvl to 10 cause you're use to like 320 exp and stuff from voodoos for example now you have to stick with 3 exp snails or 5 lol i dont remember but really make you think of the old days when you first started maple lol

I only get 40-ish exp on my main max. xD I'm level 28, so I've been killing the zombie mushrooms. o3o

I made another character on the same server as my main, only she's a bowman. And it seems a bit easier to level than magician. But I still dun like having to kill slimes and snails. @.@ Seems like a big waste of time and arrows. xD

I'm kind of mad though, because my NEW bowman has more inventory slots than my level 28 magician. o.o

I don't think I'd make another magician. I love them, but they have no strength, so until you get a good wand and spells, it takes forever to kill monsters. x.x

There are heaps of PQs now and heaps of quests on Maple Island. O_O
I used to have to train to level 25 or something on monsters to get into KPQ. Now I just do the quests on Maple Island, which are almost enough to get me my job (especially because I got a mage), go to HPQ, PQ or train to level 25 and go to KPQ. After that, go to Monster Carnival. My brother is levelling faster than me! He's at Monster Carnival and I'm at KPQ.
Low str and dex characters can be frustrating at Maple Island. I should have used that snail shell attack back then >.<"

Hmm. I believe it's a little different for everyone.

When I first started Maple, I was able to get off Maple Island within the first day. And this was way before the whole "Maple training camp" for beginners was released.

In my opinion, I think I've become more spoiled now that most of my characters have grown and are able to use fancy skills. So, when I try to make a new character, it seems long and tedious because when you're using the same attack to kill the same monsters all day, it gets pretty boring. (Especially since you barely have any other options).

I must say, it feels like Nexon's trying to make it easier for us to level. Especially with all the new party quests, quests, and double EXP events that they continuously release.

its because when you first started the game seemed new fresh and exciting! something you had never done before but making new ones repeating the steps seems harder and boring er each time (I should know =_=' I have like 1-3 characters every server and most are in 2nd Job except scania ware my third job characters are)

i remember when i was a noob i had some green mush caps i didn't want and so i asked if anyone wanted for free. some girl traded me i put them up and she put up 50k and i was like are you kidding? I thought that 50k was so much ahh man that's hilarious. now 100k isn't even that much

lol I dont seem to have a problem now getting from 1-50
I did 1-31 in 1 day and then got to 50 in a week so its actually seeming to become easier and easier leveling
