So...after much consideration I've finally decided to open a [temporary] art
store. One of the most deciding factors of the shop's success will be how
swamped I get with orders and how much time I'll have when school starts
up again. Anywho, the only problem with this is that I have no banners for
the shop and am currently in desperate need of a few. The photo-editing
software on my computer is about as good as a rock and chisel when at-
tempting to make any type of banner or signature, and thus I need help.
Anyone who takes on this challenge will either get a free fanart of their
choice [as in character and artist style "Make it like Kaori Yuki's artwork!"
if desired] or a discount on a price [if multiple people try at this, I may
have to do this since I DO NEED SOME GOLD]. The winner will be the
one I put in the shop. BUT I REALLY DO NEED SOME HELP IF YOU DON'T
MIND. gonk Here is some information for the shop:
TITLE POST BANNER
I would like a 500x300 banner with this image, the title of the shop, and
my name near one of the corners [in a smaller font]. You have the liberty
of using the entire image [downsized] or just a portion of the image [i.e.
only the center part], but I would like the violin to be included, considering
the shop is named The Devil's Trill, a piece originally composed by Tartini.
Here is a brief story of the sonata as told by Wikipedia:
Quote:
The story behind "Devil's Trill" starts with a dream. Tartini allegedly
told the French astronomer Jérôme Lalande that he dreamed that The
Devil appeared to him and asked to be his servant. At the end of their
lessons Tartini handed the devil his violin to test his skill—the devil
immediately began to play with such virtuosity that Tartini felt his breath
taken away. When the composer awoke he immediately jotted down the
sonata, desperately trying to recapture what he had heard in the dream. It
was successful with his audience; however, Tartini lamented that the piece
was still far from what he had heard in his dream. What he had written
was in his own words "so inferior to what [he] had heard, that if [he] could
have subsisted on other means, [he] would have broken [his] violin and
abandoned music forever."

The original idea for the shop was actually a section in the manga "Yami
no Matsuei/Descendants of Darkness" titled The Devil's Trill, who even
referenced the original work. The piece itself is said to only be perfected
by those who have made a deal with the devil. :0
CONTENT BANNERS
OKAY. After making it through all of that [or just skipping over it], I realize
I will also need content banners. The should be somewhere around the
range of 150x50, but please to not exceed 250x85; it should remain some-
what smaller in comparison to the title. Once again I would like the same
image used in the title, but if you find an image that you prefer [with some
form of a violin in it, or even a piece of the sheet music for The Devil's
Trill], I'll allow it. Anyway, I'd like the same image to be used in all the
banner's so that the hardest work for you will be just to retype the contents
over the same area. ANYWHO here are the titles:
