Nope, I've never refered to myself or been called an anime addict. I would say my addiction lies with good storys, or plots because without anime or manga I probably would have my face buried in a book/novel. I still bury my face in a book/novel some times.

I usually refer to myself as otaku, but sometimes people don't know what that means so I explain it to them as an anime addict, obsessor, fanatic...or whatever else it takes for them to understand lol

Yes. I have been called by my classmates an anime addict a couple of times, and they hated me for being one, because I always talk about my favorite anime most of the time. sweatdrop I guess, I have to control my "addiction" huh?
