Very nice work on the green stuff exclaim but I agree with him, he is to bright. How do you get the green stuff cut into those perfect squares?

I'ld say the scales need to be smaller and (although I can't be sure) more overlapping. I'm no fan of the googly eyes either. It also occurs to me that making a few units like that would be terribly time consuming. A valliant effort none the less.
Making the scales smaller would be hell to model. Making even that many must be time-consuming; are you planning to make an army of these, or just a couple?

I enjoy spending lots of time on models, but when you get into more time consuming stuff... you could create resin molds. I am creating en entire 200 points of chaos dwarfs that i can go show off biggrin . but this is just a side project to my chaos space marine nurgle army.
About the smaller scales, i have to agree that they would kill it... only because the dwarf is an already a small model.

You don't, you simply stick a small ball of green stuff on to the spot that you want the scales and make a tiling effect, a very chaos dwarf look smile .

Hahaha, I remember painting a Dwarf once, and I wondered what a chaos dwarf might look like. Good work mate.
