OTAKON 2008- NET SLUM TAKEOVER

It's never too early to plan for this sort of thing. Considering this is the second-largest anime-based convention in the country (AX is #1, I believe.), I figure quite a few of our fellow denizens of Net Slum will be there~ Also, since everyone else is posting "Hay, are you goin' to this con?" posts, I figured I could be cool, too.
THE BASICS
Otakon located in Baltimore, Maryland. This year, it is from Friday, August 8 through Sunday, August 10. Pre-reg is open, and pre-reg badges can be picked up the Thursday night before the con and throughout the entire duration of the convention. Badges can be bought at the door as well. As far as I know, they only offer 3-day-badges at this point, and there seems to be no attendance cap this year.

Since I figure this is a point of interest, given this is Net Slum, the .hack photoshoot is tentatively at noon on Saturday, August 9, in front of the fountains. There's a secondary, rave-inspired photoshoot to occur later in the evening. The exact time and location is unknown at this point.
