hi, i'm Rob, i have been playing warhammer for 5 years, i specialise in conversions, 'nuff said.
28/9 - chaos orks. yes, i am doing orks, but with red skin, as they follow khorne. since im getting black reach for the marines, i might as well do something cool with the orks, so i am building an army of chaos orks with the black reach contents, and my own fantasy orcs, converted to 40k. so far i have 5 painted orks... and about half my fantasy' orcs (i have 30-something of them) are converted. i will add photo's as i get them. (and this time, i fully intend to update today) 17/8 - i have added the download link for the "demo" of the mercs codex 23/7 - I painted the Rogue Trader, he has been added to the list. 22/7 - I added the Green of my newest model, the Rogue Trader. he is a converted model, and trust me, hair is sooo hard to sculpt! 13/7 - i have added my Salamander Commander! i have also sorted my album into armies/chapters to make it easier to find stuff, the Salli commander is at the top of the Salamanders list.

Project Info
if i feel like adding some backstory to one of my s in the album, i will write about it here.
In-Progress Project Info
Skittarii/Renegade Squad: these guys were made simply because they filled up a troop choice in my new chaos army, giving me the min. requirements for a game (2 troop, 1 HQ) they were built with imperial guard and tau parts mainly, with a few Imperial space marine parts thrown in. and as i have not painted any specific chaos symbols on them at all, they can also be used as a squad of Skittarii in my Ad.Mech force. the mortar is an old metal IG one, and the mortar gunner has parts from the Empire Great Cannon Crew.
Completed Project Info
Chaos Renegade Ogryn - Balkroth i was inspired by the forge world , but less than satisfied with the price as i was lacking funds (only £12.00, but i had been saving for a gift for my GF's b-day) so i got out the Green Stuff (well, Milliputt to be exact) and set down to my 1st EVER full sculpt. i have sculpted arms, capes, etc before, but never a whole , it is based on the FW Renegade Ogryn Boss , except with a few differances of my own (chainsaw instead of drill, bionic leg built from tau devilfish landing strut, etc) and then custom built a ripper gun out of a dark angels assualt cannon (it's what the s-in-skirts deserve after all, to become tainted again) and an Ork Big Shoota. areas of note are the bionic leg, the piping (coming from within the body and entering the hood, the Chainsaw, the hood, etc)
Imperial Heavy Snow-Mobile: i have had a broken land speeder chassis for a while now, but never used it for anything, as i didnt want it to fly. so instead, with some spare IG tank tracks and plasticard, i assembled tracked back wheels to fit onto the raised section on the underside of the LS chassis, then by cutting a Teleport Homer and some plasticard, i built the ski on the front, this gave me a new vehicle for games of Apocalypse, however, it was unarmed, i wanted a turret so i used the cadian heavy weapon autocannon, then to keep the vehicle looking somewhat even, instead of using the standard LS heavy bolter, i took a terminator storm bolter, cut the ammo feeder from underneath and reattached to the side, gave the gunner that. this vehicle is still undergoing test play and has yet to be painted.
Primarch/Hero: I wanted a suitable commander to lead my army, being a second founding of the iron hands, i wanted him looking suitably tech'd-up without overdoing it though, i gave him a thunder hammer and storm shield, a Hooded dark angels helmet (the knight kind) and glued a cut down chaos star onto his backpack (cut down to form a cog shape instead, representing my chapters strong ties to the Ad.Mech's) he then got a pair of dreadnought shoulders, and bang! he looked like a primarch might look like. so i will paint him accordingly so he couldnt both be a commander, and also the Iron Hands Primarch, Ferrus Mannus, in big games. he is built with Dark Angels, Terminators, Command Squad Champion, Chaos and Dreadnought parts.

Dragonzealot Rules yea, and the n one. well, i have been test playing the rules for the Land Stormer with freinds when we have met up, we havnt got it perfect, originaly it was too destructive, so rather than give a high points cost, i kitted it out with a storm bolter instead of multi-melta, still working on it, but doing pretty good
also, i have sculpted robes, hoods, etc before, but never a full , especially one on the scale of the Renegade Berzerker Ogryn. this was my very 1st attempt, as a 1st, im happy with it's result, and hopefully when i get more green stuff i will sculpt a squad, and hopefully each will be better than the boss i have already made.

Seraphine-Exalted I quite like your primarch , I do however believe that for fluff reasons his head should be detached from the rest of his body. actually, the drop-site massacre was a controversial fluff, there are 2 stories, in one, mannus is decapitated and his head is presented to Horus, in the other, he is mortally wounded, but the Adeptus Mechanicus take him to Mars and he lives there still. either way, i would only use him as Mannus in Pre-heresy games.
i love the ad.mechs, they are ruled by the necrons! (the admech god, the omnisiah, is apparently a giant metal dragon, so it's probably the necron void dragon)
