I'm looking for a good shonen-ai anime for my friend. I sent her a link to some Host club videos, and lent her a couple of my Host Club mangas, and she liked them. She specifically asked for 'interesting plot and hot guys'. xd She didn't like Death Note ( eek ) - no she isn't taking drugs, at least, not to my knowledge (I'll have to ask her...) - I think the storyline was to complex for her. gonk
Anyway, I've been considering Gakuen Heaven, seems to fit her request, right? I sent her episode one of Gravitation, and she didn't like it much. I can't really blame her; the only thing which made me finish the anime was the fact that it was shonen-ai.
So, if you know of any good animes - they don't have to be BL, but it is preferred - can you post them? Also, I'd like a short desription of the plot.

Okay, looking at my yaoi collection, I would recommend:
*Little Butterfly- Romance 3-book series about Nakahara, a boy from an abusive father who finds salvation in Kojima, a friendly, upbeat, playful, well-liked boy. It's sweet and smutty, and I've read it twice because I love it sooo much.
All those longer series you mentioned would be good plus Antique Bakery.
These are ze one-shots:
*Lost Boys - Peter Pan... YAOI style!
*Pet on Duty - Sooo cute! Mizuki [or Mi-kun] stays with his older brother at his work dorm after getting fired from his job, [though he's not technically allowed, because only people who work for the corporation can stay there], and all of the room mates become like protective older brothers, but he falls helplessly in love with one of them: the outcast of the group, who shows his sentimental side just for Mi-kun. <3
*Sensitive Pornograph - Smut, smut, smut, and more hot, sweaty boysex.
*Melted Love - Collection of cute short stories. On my smut scale this one is less than most, but still nummy. ;D
*Kirepapa - I just watched this on Youtube. So cute! And so funny.
And I don't know what you're talkin' 'bout! I own the manga version of Gravitation and I luffed it! It's a lot better than the anime, for one, just so you know.

I'm ashamed to say the only thing I've seen on that list is Sensitive Pornograph. gonk Although, Antique Bakery and Little Butterfly have been on my list of 'mangas to buy' for a while. There's only one serious flaw... erm... maybe two: the book shop near me has two shelves of mangas (I need to go shopping in Leeds, again...), and the fact they'd never sell yaoi to me. gonk I was lucky enough escaping with shonen-ai with only a few odd looks. sweatdrop
Anyway, I don't want to scare her off with yaoi too soon. sweatdrop So, I'll just have to watch them all myself first. 3nodding I loved the Gravitation manga, and I liked it much more than I liked the anime. I just wish I'd be able to find more volumes... crying

Feels stupid... gonk I've only just realised Gakuen Heaven is yaoi. eek I got as far as episode three, when the Godchild volumes I ordered arrived. So, I had to read them, and kept forgetting to carry on watching. sweatdrop
