So, what's the best gift you've ever gotten for any occasion and if you can't decide....list all the ones you want! On the darker side, what was your worst or most dissapointing/insulting gift? Tell us when you got the gift, how you liked it, what it was, and what you did with it.

Get the guitar!
The best present I ever got was for my 20th- my mum paid for me to go to Canada. It was the ******** bombay.
Worst present, I'm not so sure. Anyone who knows me well enough to buy me a present usually buys me something awesome. I usually get standard gifts from my dad's side of the family, though. Nothing special. They all know what I like, but they aren't the kind of people to go out and buy it.
Good thing my mum's side of the family kicks a**. My aunt is a Goth. I get the best stuff from her!

Best gift ever? Impulse buy from my best friend for my 18th birthday, the 10th anniversary Sonic the Hedgehog limited edition gift set, which includes a directors cut of the game, a medal, a booklet and a CD. Its numbered 24 out of 5000 and was on sale in one store in Tokyo for 2 days only... and sold out.
Worst gift? I don't think I've ever had a bad present.

Best gift?
My friends once got me Voltaire's first three albums, all personally signed to me. That was an amazing gift, being that (at the time I recieved them) he was my favorite artist.
Worst gift?
Honestly, I generally don't like people giving me gifts. I don't like the idea of people spending their money on me. But I'll accept gifts, particularly when they're genuine and sincere.
The only gifts I've gotten and actually thought were bad were "joke gifts". Such as a Hawaiin shirt someone once bought me, or "Manhood Tea" someone bought me from a Korean import store. If you really feel the need to spend money on me, spend it sincerely, and spend it on something you know I'll enjoy; don't buy me something you think is funny but will have no use or purpose later.

Best Gift. Getting the money to go pierce my lip for my nineteenth birthday. I love piercings and tats and that was especially important to me. It was my personal symbol of not caring of what people think of me anymore and had I not gotten that money I wouldn't have been able to do that.
Worst gift. I think was my friend not getting me the corset she promised me. It wasn't so much that I didn't get it as much as it was about my friend not keeping a promise.

The best present I've gotten so far is a custom-made silver necklace in the shape of a spiderweb. The worst one... was two pesos (about 20 cents) for Christmas, back when I was 9.

Best present I ever received: Honestly, I think of way too many. To me, the joy I get from the gifts is what's best. I really like to look at things I've gotten and remember those days, and those people....so, Memories I guess?
Worst Present I've ever received: A black hoodie, that didn't even fit. I still have it, for people who hang out with me, but still.

Well I like all gifts I get, because I really don't get them often, but I guess the best would be this since my mom got it for me.Oh and the mp3 my brother gave me. And my worst gift?...Probably the time someone gave me make-up,not because of the gift itself, but because I got told to "Take the hint" gonk

Worst gift: A sweater from my step-dad's grandma. It was white, with a city of teddy bears on it. And my mom made me wear it. evil

hmmmm....lets see.
best gift I ever gave myself: Tibetan prayer gong and Legends Djembe set.
Best gift ever given to me: books on medieval costume and fashion and a kimono and harkama pants set given to me by my significant other.
worst gift evah: socks....white socks....hands down the absolute worst gift imaginable even if it was the thought that counted. well...that, and any holiday sweater that was ever given to me....lol....even after I told my family what I thought of holiday sweaters.
The funny thing about being goth: finding the most odd, interesting, or just plain weird and ecclectic item and giving it to family and friends......priceless. (though my nices and nephews think the things that I give them are way cool)
