What kinds of books do you guys like to read? Which are your favorites? surprised

But I love all the Harry Potter books,

Love the drama.
Especially if it's about horses too.

Oh, and I like the Eragon series.

I love Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. xD

I don't ever want to read any other sort of vampire stories, so no Twilight for me. xD I'm stubborn like that. :3

Aaand I love manga. xD Especially Nana, Paradise Kiss, and Chobits. : D

Harry Potter here also, as well as manga. I swear, it makes me go so broke. Fave series' right now are fruits basket, Negima, Ranma, and her majesty's Dog..... it feels so weird typing that last one out for some reason. I also love Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels. They're the perfect break from the novels I have to read for school.

I read this really good book a few months ago called Beastly I think.
It was like a realistic fiction Beauty and the Beast.
Really awesome book.

Good topic. I don't remember all my favorite books, there are quite a few!


- The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss (fantasy)

- Imperium (don't remember the author, but a very good book! Historical fiction)

- The Historian (about Vlad/Dracula ((mentions of vampirism but traditional, no sparkles or ultra pretty people)), though I don't like how some books ruin Vlad's reputation -- the actual historical figure I mean)

- Lost Pharaohs (about the excavations in Egypt, non-fiction) I just finished this one about two days ago, so it's still fresh. It'll probably drop off the favorites list soon but I appreciate the knowledge.

- there was a really really good one about astral projection but I don't remember what it's called!

That's the guy who wrote Redwall, isn't it? I read Castaways but I don't remember anything about it. =C
