Great British Music

This topic is even broader than the film one, as I sit here with Iron Maiden shaking the walls I ask myself, "why is British so consistently good at making great songs?" I mean from all eras, through time Britain has so often led the way in so many genres.

There are loads of great band and musicians from the 1800's till right now, which songs or groups for you, are the best?

Secondly, I'd like to say that I love Muse with a burning passion above all other music groups, ever.

And why are the British so consistently good at making great songs?
I don't know. But maybe it's best not to question it. Hmmm.

Secondly, I'd like to say that I love Muse with a burning passion above all other music groups, ever.

I never knew where Muse were from, though someone sent me Bliss and Hyper Music over MSN, is The Dolphins Cry by them too?

I've Bliss on now, haven't listened to it for ages.

I'll correct myself before you do it for me, I just put it on and it was so blatantly not by Muse that I looked it us on google, it's by 'Live'.
