I will always love MCR, and I miss them dearly. I wish I could go out tomorrow and see them perform live, just for the adrenaline rush. But they need a break.
So! In the meantime, I'm always on the lookout for new stuff to listen to, as I'm sure we all are. So I thought there should be a place to post suggestions, since we all have our love for MCR in common.
I'll start...

Sounds like: Sexy British rock (Think Muse)
Currently listening to: Tiger Army
Sounds like: Western punk rock (I believe that's called Rockabilly)
Currently listening to: Girl In A Coma
Sounds like: Really good chick-rock (The Pixies, Sleater Kinney)

I suggest listening to HIM or Wolfmother. Only two bands I can think of at the moment. ;p

sounds like: Electronic, crazy, a little funny, fast rock

Aww MSI are really good - however at times I'm not sure if its the best or worst thing I've ever heard...
However I will be going to see them live for the second time in April biggrin
Lyn-z thinks my accent is cute so I owe her that much <3
However.. I'd suggest some songs, however I doubt many people have the same musical taste as me...
I mean I like Red Hot Chilli Peppers... Sky Blue Hideaway... The Beach Boys... Foo Fighters... err.. MSI...>>MCR Obv <<... Nizlopi... The Wombats ^^ My Music teacher's nephews band biggrin ... Rory gallagher... Led Zep... Dredson Dolls....
See I like lots of different stuff ^^

I'm not very good at recommending bands. I don't think many people here enjoy listening to post-hardcore, metalcore kinda stuff.

But mmm, yes. The Blood Brothers. Now that's some good stuff right there.

If you like them, check out Heavy Heavy Low Low & Arsonists Get All The Girls.
Probably Emery, too.
& for some good, non-heavy stuff, check out The Almost.

Hmm... Funeral For A Friend is good. I heard them at Warped Tour; they were amazing. Linkin Park, Meg & Dia, Coldplay, U2, Green Day (duh), AFI, the Misfits, Panic! At the Disco.

I love ‘em! They’re like a drug that you can’t just help but take! (Sorry, but music is my drug) They hung out with MCR on Project Revolution. When I heard about it, I geeked out!!! It was two of the five most resepected male singers I love hanging out together!! OMG!!!!! I was like, “The two male singers on the top of my list MET EACH OTHER????? OMG!!!!!!”….. I was screaming a lot that night….
