'The Craft' thread inspired me to make a list of movies that touch on Paganism, Magic, Witchcraft and the Occult. Do keep in mind I created this list with a loose definition of the above topics and I realize most of these are pretty shitty representations and should be taken with a grain of salt (like Hocus Pocus XP).

I have tried to include a diverse range of films in this list. And no, I haven't seen them all yet...

Feel free to add films and/or discuss.

Dark Red text = My recommendations

What about the original version of The Wicker Man with Christopher Lee? There was an excellent film with Pagan themes.

How about Sleepy Hollow starring Johnny Depp? Ichabod Crane's mother and Katrina Van Tassel were both witches, not to mention Katrina's stepmother. Crane's mother and Katrina used protective magic on him, and the stepmother used magic to control the Headless Horseman.

Oh, yeah, and the stepmother's sister used magic to divine for Crane.

Are we only doing western magic and the occult, or only western movies? 'Cause I've got some Japanese stuff, too.

Onmyoji (and Onmyoji 2)
There's a whole series of movies alternately called Eko Eko Azarak and Misa the Dark Angel, which is a Japanese take on Ceremonial Magic with some Wiccan and Lovecraftian flavor.

As for western movies and western magic...
Photographing Fairies
Brotherhood of the Wolf
Renegade (also known as Blueberry)
Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor) and Day Watch (Dnevnoi Dozor), although the books have a way better representation of dramatized witchcraft than the movies did (well, and the books are all around a million times better).

I'm pretty sure I know of more, but I'm buried in Calculus night now, so...

sweatdrop I remember Misa the Dark Angel. I hate that I didn't think of it first.

I also just thought of Tamara. The director said he had the featured spell written by a Wiccan to make it seem as realistic as possible, though the spell itself is not necessarily Wiccan.

The anime b*****d!! features a little bit of ceremonial magic (though I use the term loosely) in the first two episodes. All magic after that is typically showy, but I like the anime. The beginning of Fate/Stay Night also featured some ceremonial stuff.

Should there be a second list for TV shows?

What about Escape to Witch Mountain or Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Also with the Wicker Man are we talking old version or new version/ do we need to separate the two? Personally I'd want them separated cause the first one is great and the second one is ick and I know a lot of people who don't know the second is a remake, but that's just my thoughts.
