My Japanese friend is going through a really rough time right now and I want to give him something to help him out, something to remind him who he is (like his own mantra or something)......unfortunately I'm Vietnamese, the wrong type of Asain at the moment sweatdrop . So I was wondering if someone fluent in Japanese could help me out (I want to suprise him).
I've number the sentences to make it easier. (Please type in romanji, my computer doesn't read hirigana or katakana)......................Sorry it's so long sweatdrop
(1) To the core within this shell,
The soul within this being I hide,
Let no more screams clash in waves with the tears of my frustration.
(2) I shall tread this path I know is not perfect, live within this life with hope never far from my heart.
(3) Deep in the recesses of my mind, I plea, to not the gods, but to the darkness I have created.
(4) I have given my agony, my pain, my hate, my sorrow to sate your hunger. (5) For this price I shout to you,
I command you, give back the life and prosperity you have stolen from me.
(6) To the shames and regrets, horrors and betrayals that loom alongside my shadows,
Hear me, for I will grasp you in my clutch and banish you
To where my fears will exist but never enshroud what light is inside.
(7) I will take my words and scream with my heart: “(8 ) I AM MYSELF! (9) NEITHER THE LIFE OF A MAN NOR WOMAN SHALL I LOVE
MORE THAN THE LIFE THAT LAY BEFORE ME! (10) THIS LIFE I OWN, I SHALL CHERISH!
(11) AND NOTHING WILL TAKE THIS AWAY!!!”
