Well when I start to exercise I am going to do it during the morning I think because no one is really out at 6-7am and the air is nice and crisp - giving you a bit of momentum to keep going. Plus once you get it out of the way you have the rest of the day ahead of you :3 you don't necessarily need to sit there going 'Gawd I am now tired... I still need to exercise.'
Just make sure you don't exercise too close to bed, and I think not right before a meal (might make you feel hungrier..) and not right after a meal.

In the morning, before work. :3 That way I'll have no excuse like "Gosh, work was so hard today... I just want to relax..."

Morning, without question. You get up, get moving and sweating, then shower and go about your day. I don't know why, but no matter how tired I am, I can always manage to get the laundry or shopping or cooking done... but if I'm tired from doing all of that, I don't tend to get the workout done.
Plus, working out gets your heart rate going and actually gives you more mental energy to last the day. Exercising right before bed will just make it so you can't sleep.

I exercise whenever I can manage to fit it in during the day.
Sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon, sometimes at night. :3
I think it really just depends on the type of person. I actually find that exercising at night helps me get to sleep when I´m restless.

I mostly excercise in the evening. It just seems to be the time of day that I can fit it into my schedule the easiest. I'm normally too groggy in the mornings to actually get off of my butt and do anything.

I excercise late in the after noon becuase i dont get home till 5 pm (damn extra class', only a few more weeks! crying ) However i prefer to work in the freash morning air when the worlds still quite and i'm in a great mood!
Soon i wont have that extra class and i'll have more time so i plan on breacking my workout into parts so i wont over due it all at once!
Also lately i'm trying to add on to my work out, sence i've been rebuilding after being sick and i decided i should left wieghts again. I'm not found of weight lifting but it helps my arms and back so i'm starting again. My mom also got me an excercise ball (the physical therepist taught me excercise on it for my back, sence i've had injuries that effected my back and weakend it over my highschool years)
as for a good time to work out, i heard its bad to over work out 2-3 hours before you go to sleep, If its really late for me i just do some relaxing stretching.

It all depends on you.
you don't want to excersize in the morning if you are a night owl right? I mean it's annoying to get up to do something that will just make you more tired faster.
BUT
there are people who excersize in the morning to wake them up. you can try doing this
week 1 excersize in the morning, week 2 afternoon, week 3 night. and well then you can choose the best result for you.

i get up in the morning and do my 1st half of exercises and then come home and do the 2nd half... but i think i may just start getting up earlier... it takes ALOT of motivation for me to do the 2nd half after school... and 50% of the time it doesnt get done

I try to do a little bit all through the day, IE: Yoga in the morning, sit ups and calisthenics in the afternoon and then a gym visit some time around 6-7 PM with a run up the college (It's almost one straight kilometer of stairs) at around midnight.. That said, it usually doesn't go that way.
When I start working again (I was hired : D) I'll be doing 11-7pm, and I'll be getting up early to go to the gym before work if I can.
That said, my husband is working till midnight this month, so I might have to shift my days later than ever.

OMG you're right eek i had never thought about it, but there have been occasions when i have been to the gym late in the evening and not been able to sleep

Going to the gym never leaves me tired, but the walk run climb I do at night before bed really takes it out of me usually, mostly because it's so hard.
