Do not get a salon to do it, it will cost you 150+ dollers and you can do it yourself for 40 dollers or less ... Upkeep humm depends on natural hair color and how often you wash your hair and if you get a perminate or semi-perminate dye.
Ill tell you step by step how to do it so you can learn and save money
smile 1. Bleach out hair after use a deep conditioning treatment
2. blow dry wait 24 hours
3. get all colors your gonna use with
seprate brushes which can be found in a beauty store for cheep
4. without mixing colors carefully do one area with one color ex. purple then green with seprate brush making sure its not touching the other color so there is no bleeding to colors
4. wait 10-30 min ( depends on color)
5. wash out condition again and blow dry
6. then pull hair into half ponytail keeping the top layers with the rainbow color away from the lower layer with blonde.
7. dye your lower layers black or whatever color your thinking about the solid lower half to be black red pink whatever.
8. leave in for 10-30 min depending on dye
9. wash out let down rest of hair blow dry
10. enjoy
heart **The only reason i know this is cuz ive been doing hair ( colors,cuts,ect.) for 7 years lol so i know a lil bit about it. if you do all of this step by step and be careful about it, it will come out perfect
