Orks orks orks and more orks! [PROJECT! Picture heavy]

Hello.

I'm a big fan of the Space Orks, always been, and recently started a small WAAAGH! (started by playing GorkaMorka and needed more fanatical greenskins!)

As I like GorkaMorka I also like speed, so my maintheme for my Orks are Speed Freaks, but since I like the other clans as well I'm making a tribe as my army (which is going to be my Apocalypse army later) so that I can take units from other clans, flash gits will be bad moon, slugga/shoota boyz (well, most of them) will be Goffs, kommandos will be blood axes etc.

And I recently began to build up a 400 points foce from the upcomin' codex, led by my Big Mek Thrugg Gobsmash'd, I'll post some pictures of him later on.

So generally I'll start with getting 400 points of speedfreaks painted up, and then add more units as Thrugg joins up with a tribe he meets on his way, and by joining a tribe which most likely will end up in a WAAAGH! he knows for sure he will be able to collect scrap to build the biggest, shootiest or stompiest things around!

I'll start off by posting some minis frmo my GorkaMorka Warband which started all of this.



My spanner Otskie, my grot servant Niggit (carrying the Nob's personal mob bosspole) and the nob himself, Grimlock 'Eadbang.

As time goes I'll post more things here.

While I'm at it I'm posting Thrugg himself and his looted wagon and his battlewagon (none built yet "story" wise)

Thrugg Gobsmash'd isn't like he once was... He got on the wrong side of the Warboss, and ended up being gobshashed (lost most of his teef he did) and ended up in re-building his jaw with the help of the clans painboss.

Here he is. Going to shade him a bit more both in skin and his bag holding his stikkbobz.

Wonderful. I like the giant metal Ork Landraider thing. I'm honestly a little disappointed in the state of the basing though. The skins is excellent, but the basing really lets it down. Sand, brown paint, and some static grass will make them boyz pop.

Actually they are to be based this weekend, the painted base was just a fast solution to get them finished for GorkaMorka.

Been far to busy with my Wii of late to use any money for basing kits. xD;;;

BUT THIS WEEKEND IS "THE" Weekend when I base my painted minis and start with my boyz, since I'm too lazy yet to start with my vehicles (haven't gotten a hang of that wethering part yet, but I'm slowly working on it).

But I will do some work this weekend, that's a promise (well, unless I get too many bills to pay this month since I'm 33% low in cash this month due to one week of sickness).

But I'll make sure I atleast get them based and try painting skin on 30 Orks, maybe I'll go as far as paint the skin of both mobs of boys (each 30 man strong... Jeebus... D; )...

I got Thrugg a tad bit re-painted and based, darkened his skin between his fingers and muscles a bit, added more rust (and re-painted the old one), re-painted his apron and gave the armour a quite watered down ink wash (25% black, 30% chestnut and 45% water).

Lovely work there. I like the rust, or just color changes whatever they are on the elctrode/spiney whatever thing on his back. And the rok skin is very well done.

I just finished painting my Ork Warboss, some boyz and bult some warbikers and started converting a trukk with some plasticard, and OF COURSE the camera won't work when I'm about to upload them... D;

Finally got the camera to work!

The Warboss's arms are mostly greenstuff, my first attempt on arms, they're not perfect, but I'm getting a tad bit better, just need some more practice.

Yes, the warboss have a Nob slugga, and I don't intend to make it spiffy, he's a goff, it only needs to work and be able to kill and he's good with it.
