Online relationships are different to long distance. Online relationships you will never meet the person in real life. Long distance relationships you see them regularly even though you live miles away.

At thirteen, I'm sorry, but none of that is worth it. Personally, I would tell you to put off dating for a year, maybe more. It's only going to mess things up for you at the point that you're at, and online/long-distance relationships don't typically work for your age level.

Ok hun, let this worthy person tell you something helpful!!
I am 14, I am bi and i have a long distance gf. She is turning 17 next month. She and i USED to talk all the time on the phone, until i got scared for her safety, then i kinda went over board. Now im banned from talking to her until she turns 18 Next year. crying And yeah, its feraking hard. I'm ALWAYS thinking about her....dreaming about her. But i hold on to the knowledge [sp?] That we will be together agian. You say you like her? Start talking to her the most you can, You might actually fall in love with her like i am with my girl heart
Just remember, if you two start going together, Test her to know she will be faithful, you know, so you dont get hurt. heart

Okay, first of all, calling yourself worthy is a bit much. Dating that girl would be illegal if you're only fifteen when she turns eighteen. You shouldn't "test" the other person in the relationship to see if they're faithful or not, you should be straight-forward and honest.

Ok from experiance i know yes it can work ive been going out with my josh bunny for over two years now and it wasent always long distance till a lil while ago when he graduated college and moved back home to NY and i live in PA so it got difficult at first but! Just like anything else you get usto it and you know we only see eachother 8-10 days out of a month cuz he got a car and come all the way over to where i live which is a 4 hour drive and we are still as inlove as we were when we were living near eachother so why not take the chance i did and im happy : heart But since you are only 13 and im gonna be 20 soon it is a lil diff. is it only online or would there be any way of seeing eachother like take the bus or maybe a friend thats older with a permit or licence? If it is only a online i say try it anyway cuz when you are older you can see eachother and you know what it never hurts to try cuz if you try you will never look back and say i wonder what would have happened if ? Get what i mean well i hope that helped smile

For one;; Online relationships are stupid and pointless. Should never have happened. Two;; The whole illegal at 18 thing would just screw things up even more. She's not worth it. Three; You're 13, kid. You have a whole life ahead of you. Dont let a long distance relationship screw you over.

Hah.
a girl I met online, almost got enough money to come see me. we keep it strong with webcam and we keep it strong with instant-messenger calling (free phone call), and we're always in touch.
been going on for 6 days short of 4 months now.
you can say internet relationships won't work, and i'll understand your sentiment, doesn't mean i'll agree, but what i will agree on is that no relationship you start at age 13 will last. i thought i'd be with my first boyfriend forever, nope, didn't work, he lost interest in guys. live and learn.
