10 hours. 10 hours I waited in the pouring rain and the freezing cold to see my favourite band live. And I can tell you, I was not the the slightest disappointed.
The queue seemed long and never ending. Thankfully, they let us in 50 minutes early because no one could bear the rain. 5 people had collapsed in the cramped queue, and 3 were wrapped up in sleeping bags by the medical team because they were freezing.
I got inside, and got a perfect view of the stage when I ran up to the front row on the right hand side.
Mindless Self Indulgence came and played their set, and they were amazing. With Jimmy jumping into the crowd, Lyn Z jumping into the crowd, and Jimmy throwing random stuff out to the crowd, it was a performance to remember.
Then they finished their set by Jimmy lip syncing the words to that song, There's No Business Like Show business.
Then there was about a half hour break. Then, the lights shut off and everyone went crazy. My Chemical Romance (minus Frank and Bob, plus Cortez and Pete) came on stage, and played their new song, Stay.
They did an amazing performance and ended with Famous Last Words. Amazing fire shows, bangs, sparks, confetti, the works. Then at the end Gerard, Ray and Mikey departed the stage at my side, and I was so close to them I could have (almost) touched them.
It was definitely worth the 10 hour wait in the freezing cold and rain. And it was definitely worth my flu, sore back, sore legs, sore arms, sore throat, and the big bruise under my eye.
My Chemical Romance have definitely proved they are the most amazing band, by ending one hell of a tour in frickin' style.

(Get well soon Bob, and Frank, I hope your family members get well soon, too).

Gah! I wanted to go to that concert...unfortunately, my mother thinks it would have been a bit impractical to fly 10 hours from maryland to ireland. XP Ah well. Next time.

I would of went, but if I asked to go, I would of had a bad place in it. I figured out that they were playing in Belfast 2-3 weeks before the gig. xP
