Another "Don't you hate it when..."

I hate it when people treat you because of your heritage. Living in America, a lot of people didn't want to talk to me. Why? Because of my heritage. I'm a proud Palestinian. You can hate me, or you can not. But like I said before, don't judge the video game[something different this time] by the cover images. Who cares if I'm Palestinian. I like being who I am, and you can't change that. I think the war is wrong and etc., but don't take out your hate on someone who's never even been to the country and wants the war to stop. I want peace between the two countries, like how it was before my granddad was born. But either way. we ALL come from Adam and Eve. We're all human. We're all family.

Tell me, have you ever been judged by your heritage, where you lived, where you came from, etc.?

PS - Please don't hate me, or stop talking to me, because I said I'm Palestinian. I'd be hurt if one of the only places where I actually fit in were to stop talking to me as well.




And again, I'm sorry MODs if this is against the rules. I was having a hard week and I'm not sure what's right and wrong.

Most of the places I've been to school to and stuff are pretty cool with everyone.
As long as you are a good and moral person I'm down.

I dont amount to you but I'm a quarter Cherokee and people tend to make fun of me when I tell them.
Always something about casinos or stolen land.
Mostly about how its either untrue or everyone has native american in them.
There really are none around these days and being a quarter is ALOT.
Only having 1/24th in you is nothing.
I also hate to correct people when they say Indian and not native american.
Indians are from India...Columbus was an idiot.

I can't really remember if someone said anything about my heritage. Some boy in my school keeps thinking I'm Jewish. I'm not. I'm Italian, that's why my hair is dark and I have the kind of tanned skin color. O.o

Lets see.
I'm Japanese/Thai.
And I don't claim my caucasian side.
I wear the Thai colors (yellow) & shirts that say We Love Are King in Thai.
I was also raised in a Japanese household.
I have a lot of pride in my countries.

I get made fun of all all the time.
And more then half my school thinks Thai=Taiwan & I'm Chinese.
But then again, more then half my school thinks Asia is in China & Japan it's on continent.
It was worse when I first moved to america.
Because about the only English I knew was Hello.
And I was made fun of all the time & didn't know what they were saying.

I also get made fun of because of my religion.
I'm Theravada Buddhist & I live in a small religious Southern town.
So I always get the whole "your going to hell" lecture & "haha you worship a fat guy".
And I alway correct them.
Buddha wasn't fat, the Chinese depict wealthy people as fat.

I just don't let it get to me.
Like they can say all they want, & it won't effect me in the slightest.
Because you know what.
I'm more mature then them.
And I sure as hell don't feed into my stereotype like they do.
But when it does get to me.
I have friends.
And other stuff....but I will not suggest it to you.

So just be the bigger person.
Because you'll be around people like that all your life.

But I find it just stupid to pick on someone because of their heritage.
We're all people...we all have feelings....
I've easily tricked people that I'm from London in Britain, even someone from there believed me, lol.

I kinda think people do that to maybe make them feel better about themselves because their more than likely just ignorant.
