There is a hint of it in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, at page 21 where Elphias Doge writes:
"I met Albus Dumbledore at the age of eleven, on our first day at Hogwards. Our mutual attraction was undoubtedly due to the fact that we both felt ourselves to be outsiders."
Me and my friend then started to talk about the possebility of Dumbledore being homosexual! And we were right! biggrin

indeed. everywhere did explode. i'm very happy that she did in fact put a homosexual character in the series. and i very much look forward to the fanfiction that shall come from this. well at least some of it.

I was at my friend's house when I read that, and her parents stared at us like they wanted to put us in the loony bin when we started jumping around and yelling sweatdrop
This just makes JK all the cooler! She doesn't seem to care what other people think, since she is right in what she said in the interview, that what's one more thing for people who already dislike the books because of the witchcraft angle to hate about it?

Maybe I'll have to try my hand at writing, or con my friend into it.

Heh, my whole house exploded since my roomies and I are all big HP fans. One of them plays Dumbles at a RP and was like "You're expecting me to do slash now aren't you?" :p YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

You know what's great about this? I was thinking that there was something going on with the rivalry between him and Grindelwald. And now it's officially TRUE!
And you know what's weird? My mom told me about this. Not long after we were discussing drag queens.
